Stella was picked up at the vet and home by 11 AM this morning. She is being such a good girl. Her brothers and sisters are also being very good. I spent the afternoon napping on the floor with her. She couldn't snuggle close enough to me as we slept. I attached two pictures. One is of the stitches on her knee and the other is a picture

Isn't it amazing how the other animals know when one is in pain or sick? I'm glad you and Stella both have Kali for comfort.
ReplyDeleteIs Stella food moticated? We found when our dog was injured that kongs, frozen with things like apple sauce, broth or peanut butter, kept him quiet and entertained. That coupled with occassional doses of benadryl were life savers.
Hope Stella heals well! And I am glad to see your numbers are so good, even if you expected better, it sounds like you have made amazing progress!!
