Spent last night watching X Factor and Law and Order SVU. Went to bed around 10 PM.
This morning I was up at 6 AM. Fed the dogs and gave Vito his shot. I then took my morning pills and within 30 seconds I threw them all up. Always a great way to start the morning. Shortly after Tony left for work, I went back to bed. Got up again around 11:30 AM to start the day over again. Of course now not only my prostate hurts, my back hurts from throwing up. Spent the afternoon doing things around the house and watching TV. Gave Barkley a bath with my shower. Making left overs spaghetti for dinner tonight. It rained all morning, the sun came out in the afternoon for a while, and by 3 PM the rain returned along with the wind. Strong gusty winds are suppose to last all night here in Milwaukee. Will spent tonight watching X Factor and then The Mentalist before going to bed. I honestly could go to bed right now I am so tired. My body feels 'off' for some reason. I hope I am not coming down with something.

September 28, 2011 Wednesday Dinner Time
Spent last night watching Glee, Dancing Results and Body of Proof before going to bed around 10 PM. Around 2 AM we woke up to thunderstorms which then produced a shaking Kali and a crying in his cage Vito. I brought Vito onto the bed for the rest of the night. It thundered all night long, no one had a good night's sleep.
This morning I was up at 6:30 AM to feed the dogs and give Vito his Insulin shot. Tony left for work around 7:30 AM. Spent the next couple hours reading the morning newspaper and watching the morning news. Around 10 AM I went to Walgreen's to pick up my prescription and razor blades that were on sale. I have commented about the high price of razor blades and when I see them on sale I buy as many as I can. The Schick Quattro blades were on sale with a $5.00 in store credit on your next purchase. I also had a couple $2.00 off coupons and a coupon for a free razor with blades. So I ended up buying close to $30.00 in razors and blades and got $20.00 back to spend on other items I needed. Ended up buying a 24 pack of bottled water for Tony, Bayer Low Dose Aspirin for Tony, 8 cans of tea for Tony, computer paper and two birthday cards with the $20.00. So I basically got all that for free. I was so proud of myself I laid it all out on the dining room table to show Tony. On one side of the table I have the razors and blades I bought and on the other side of the table I have all the items listed above that I got for free with the money back coupons and such. It makes me feel good to know I am saving the household money. Tony will most likely look at the display and say something like 'OK'. Guess you have to seek happiness from within? LOL. It did make ME happy to know I saved the money. Took a two hour nap this afternoon since it is cloudy and drizzling outside all day again today. Still have the prostate pain. I don't feel like cooking tonight so we will go down the street to have $1 burgers and fries. Will spend the night watching X Factor and Law and Order SVU. Not feeling like doing much more right now with the pain and uncomfortableness I feel in my prostate. Feels much better to just lay low right now until I find out what is going on with it.

September 27, 2011 Tuesday Dinner Time
The nurse finally called me around 5:15 PM on Monday to tell me the doctor would rather I see a Urologist for my prostate pain then her give me a stronger antibiotic. The nurse gave me the name of the Urologist doctor she wanted me to see. Of course it was too late to make an appointment at this time of day so that would have to wait. Made a frozen pizza and salad for dinner. Spent the night watching Dancing With The Stars and then Castle before going to bed. I must admit I am not impressed with any of the dancers this season.
This morning I was up at 6:30 AM. Fed the dogs and gave Vito his shot. Around 9:30 AM I called the Urologist to make an appointment. The soonest the scheduler could see an opening was over two weeks down the road, so she connected me with the Urologists nurse's answering machine to leave a message and try to get an earlier appointment, than over two weeks from now. The nurse finally called around 11:30 AM to tell me the soonest appointment she had was Friday October 7th at 8 AM. I am not fond of any appointment that early in the day. It is hard enough to clear my head at that time of day much less clear the area that the doctor will probably want to go up into. I am trying to be sensitive here. LOL. I took the appointment since I have no choice. The last thing the nurse told me was to continue the antibiotic I am on at least until that appointment since a prostate infection takes at least a 30 day of antibiotic to get rid of the infection. See, I guess the prostate has very little blood flow. Since an antibiotic goes into your blood stream, it take a lot longer for it to help the prostate. I told the nurse I only had enough antibiotic left to last me until this Saturday which would be 20 days on the antibiotic. She then told me to call my regular doctor back and get another 10 days of the antibiotic. So then I was on the phone again with my regular doctor's nurse trying to get another 10 days of antibiotic. She told me she would check with the doctor and if I haven't heard from her or the pharmacy by tomorrow night to call her back. I honestly hate all this crap. By this time it was 1 PM in the afternoon today and I figured since I was making spaghetti for dinner and had no lettuce, to just go do my regular Wednesday grocery shopping today and get it over with. So I went grocery shopping. Got home and spent the afternoon doing more laundry with the new washing machine. It is so nice to see clothes in water. Already made the salads and garlic bread for dinner, the sauce is boiling, and the noodles will go in the boiling water around the time Tony gets home from work. Will spend the night watching Glee, Dancing Results and Body of Proof before going to bed tonight. Hopefully I will get the prescription called in and go to Walgreen's tomorrow. The prostate pain is not more than a 4 on a 1 to 10 scale, but it is enough pain or should I say uncomfortableness, to make me want to just do nothing. I figure the feeling I have down in that area must be what a woman feels once a month. It just hurts and you want to do nothing. It rained on and off all day again today. I think we have gotten the months worth of rain in the past few days it has rained so much.

September 26, 2011 Monday Morning
Spent Friday night watching TV from the DVR. Went to bed around 10 PM.
Saturday we were up by 7 AM. Fed the dogs and gave Vito his shot. Vito seems better and ate all his food. I think he is not a morning dog like most people and doesn't like to eat right away when he wakes up. Unfortunately, trying to keep the Insulin shots 12 hours apart I try to feed him early or I would be feeding all the dogs so late at night. Plus we can not eat dinner if they are still waiting for theirs. Maybe if I had better trained dogs it would be an option. Not in this life time. We were up at the Center Street block party for the Push Cart Race by 11 AM. It was not the best of weather all day but it was better than Sunday. It did drizzle here and there during the day, but the sun did come out and we were able to enjoy the block party off and on throughout the day. In the afternoon we walked a block off the block party to a used washing machine store. Ended up buying a used $200 washing machine with a year warranty to replace our front load $650 Samsung washing machine. Put $100 down on it and Tony will pick it up on Monday morning with an employee and bring it home. Around 6 PM it started pouring rain and the block party came to a quick end. Spent the night watching more on the DVR. We are getting pretty caught up on the week's TV shows on the DVR.
Sunday we were up by 7 AM again. Fed the dogs and gave Vito his shot. We spent the morning moving the Samsung washing machine outside so it is ready to take to Tony's shop and then put it on Craigslist to sell. Cleaned up around the washing machine area so it is all ready for the new used one on Monday. It rained all day on Sunday and we did very little but lay around watching TV. I did leave the house for a bit to get lottery tickets, but that was pretty much the only thing outside the house all day. Spent the night watching Amazing Race, The Good Wife and CSI Miami. We DVR'd Desperate Housewives. Went to bed around 10 PM.
This morning I was up at 6 AM. Fed the dogs and gave Vito his shot. Tony left for work around 7:30 AM. It has been pouring rain all morning but it looks like things might clear for a bit. I just hope it isn't raining around 10 AM so Tony can get our new used washing machine home here so I can start doing some laundry. I plan on washing all my clothes in my closets and drawers all over again with the new used washing machine. I will be so happy not to have the Germinator washing machine after today. Called my mom this morning and we had our weekly conversation. I plan on calling my doctor today to see if I should try a different antibiotic for my prostate infection. It has not gotten any better and something has to change. I can't live like this with this pain. Hopefully I won't have to go back to the doctor and it will be as easy as just picking up a new antibiotic once the doctor calls it into Walgreen's. Plan on spending the day doing laundry once the new washing machine gets here. Will watch Dancing With The Stars and Castle tonight, DVR'ing the CBS entire nightly lineup. I did like the first new episode of Two And A Half Men. We watched it over the weekend and it was funny. Time will tell how it will be in the future without Charlie Sheen. Time to get into the shower and get the day started.

September 23, 2011 Friday Dinner Time
I did not post yesterday because in all honesty I did not have much to say. I did very little all day yesterday. Of course the morning routine was pretty much the same except for the fact Vito would not eat and therefore did not get an Insulin shot in the morning. Spent most of the day watching TV and just laying around the house. The prostate is not feeling very good and I have a feeling the antibiotic is doing nothing to help. Spent the night watching X Factor and The Mentalist before going to bed around 10 PM. When we went to bed I tried to turn the channel on the back cable box and it would not work. Twice the repair people have been here to fix this. Guess I call them again tomorrow.
Today I was up at 6:30 AM. Fed the dogs, Vito would not eat and did not eat until about 8 AM, I gave his his Insulin shot then. Around 9 AM Vito threw up all over a chair he was sitting on and of course it had to go down the seams and make it a very hard clean up. He seems fine now and has been all day. Not sure what is going on with him. Called AT&T to schedule another repair person to come to the house. Of course when I was on the phone with them I tried turning the channel on the back cable box and it worked. Unbelievable. So there is no sense having them come out. The tech gave me some suggestions and a night time phone number to call for after hour problems like this. There is not much they can do unless it is not doing what it is suppose to do when they would get here. Will try what they said and see if it works better. No one seems to know why it won't change the channels on the box at night, and then works fine in the morning. Went and had lunch with the guys. Tony stayed at work and did not join us today. Had a good lunch and laughed a lot with the guys. Came home and took a nap with the dogs snuggling with Vito. I just finished vacuuming the house and I am now making a vanilla cake with chocolate frosting. The cake is baking as I type. Will most likely just make some chicken noodle soup and ham and cheese grilled sandwiches for dinner tonight. Maybe even a side salad. It is cloudy and in the 50s again today in Milwaukee. Tonight we will spend the night watching some of the shows on the DVR we taped all week. I am sure we will not get through much all weekend since there are about 25 shows to watch on the DVR. Tomorrow is a the big block party on Center Street, which is the cross street at the end of our alley. It is always a fun block party and starts out with the famous push cart race at 11 AM. I have posted pictures in the past. It is a hysterical event. Also a dodge ball event all afternoon. Should be a fun time and we will be up at the block party on and off all day on Saturday. The weather is suppose to be the same as today, cold and cloudy. Not much else going on this weekend which is fine with me. I feel like just sleeping. The more I do, the more my prostate area hurts so it is better to just lay low anyway.

September 21, 2011 Wednesday Dinner Time
Got up this morning at 6:30 AM. Fed the dogs and gave Vito his shot. Left the house a little before 10 AM to take Kali to the vet for her allergy sores. Got an antibiotic, shampoo and a lotion for her for the cost of $150.00. After I dropped her off at the house and let the dogs outside again, I then went grocery shopping at Pick N Save here on my side of town. Bought a lot of food and items that were on sale. The total was $160.00. So far a pretty expensive day. Came home and unpacked it all. Made myself a ham sandwich and listened to the LMFAO music CD and the new CD from Jennifer Lopez. They are both on my play list right now. It got colder as the day went along and is now about 60 degrees outside. Tomorrow we will be luck to get into the mid 50s according to the weather report. Fall is here. Glad I put up the Halloween decorations outside yesterday since it was the better of the two days. My prostate still hurts. I will be starting the second course of antibiotics for it tomorrow. I pray the second course works otherwise I will be back to the doctor and something more serious must be going on. My dad did have prostate cancer so I do worry. I have been checked recently with a blood test and all but I am sure they will want to 'scope' me soon if this problem doesn't go away. I pray it goes away with the next 10 days of antibiotics. Made some peanut butter cookies this afternoon with mini snicker bars on top. Eat two of them already and have to stop or I will not be hungry for dinner. Making Sloppy Jo's and Mac N Cheese with a salad for dinner tonight. Comfort food as it gets cold outside. Will watch the premier of X Factor tonight which I have been looking forward to since it was announced. Will watch Law N Order SVU after X Factor. The DVR will be taping The Middle, Modern Family, Criminal Minds, CSI and Revenge. We will have so much to watch this weekend on the DVR.

September 20, 2011 Tuesday Dinner Time
Spent last night watching Dancing With The Stars and then Castle before going to bed. I thought all the stars on DWTS last night sucked. They better all step up their game. Went to bed around 10 PM.
This morning I was up at 6 AM. Fed the dogs and gave Vito his Insulin shot. Got dressed and put on a baseball cap and headed out the door a little after 7 AM to go to the energy assistance office. I hate going there and have done it twice before. You stand in one line and get a number, then another and get a number, and the day is wasted. Actually was not that bad this time. I was in the door by 7:30 AM and out the door by 9:30 AM with a $485 credit to my electric and gas bill. Not bad for two hours of my day. I guess I am considered low income. Since the Wisconsin will not let Tony and I get married I figure they can't have it both ways and his income don't count. Came home and spent the morning putting up some Halloween decorations around the house and outside. Figure I might as well get it done since it will be October soon and Halloween will be over in a blink of an eye. Took a shower and then a short nap with the dogs until the dog next door's barking got everyone up. Spent the rest of the afternoon catching up on emails and web sights I have not been to in a while. It is the last nice day weather wise in Milwaukee for a long time. It is in the 70s today but a cold blast is coming tonight. Will be in the 50s and 60s for the next week. Not sure yet if I am making dinner or we are going to go out to a car show or something for dinner. I figure we might as well enjoy the weather before it is gone so I think a car show might win. Plus I really don't feel like cooking tonight. So much on TV tonight the DVR will be smoking. There are 3 shows on 3 channels all night long that we will eventually want to watch. Will watch the Dancing Results show tonight, Glee , and Body of Proof. Back on the patch today and doing good. Had to get back on track after the weekend's failing. I don't want to do pills because of the mind altering affects. I don't need that with the meds I already take. Tomorrow I have to take Kali to the vet because she has skin sores from allergies. I am sure she will get another antibiotic. She has this just like Barkley. Will have to go grocery shopping tomorrow also. Been emailing with mom who's son recently found out he is HIV+. I have to say one of the best things that has come of this blog is the emails I receive from people who find it. I thank them all and feel I have a purpose even though I have HIV. I feel there is maybe a reason for this dreaded disease.

September 19, 2011 Monday Late Afternoon
Friday night we watched a couple of movies. Watched the movies Everything Must Go and Hesher. Both were OK, glad I downloaded them rather than paid to see them. Went to bed around 10 PM.
Saturday morning we were up by 6 AM. Fed the dogs and gave Vito his shot. Spent the morning watching some home improvement shows. Around noon we went to the Bay View Block Party. Had a drink and some food, listened to a band, and came home. A little while later we went up the street to the Tomato Bash. A big cage full of tomatoes, 250 people let into the cage, and the fun began. We soon found out standing anywhere near the cage was not good. By the time it was all over and I had gotten a few pictures and video, Tony and I both had tomato in our hair and on our clothes, and we were just spectators. Here is a video of the tomato fight:
Came home and we both took another shower. After feeding the dogs supper and giving Vito his shot, I made a pizza and salad for dinner. Spent the night watching TV on the DVR trying to get it all watched before the new season of TV starts on Monday. Went to bed around 10:30 PM.
Sunday morning we were up at 7 AM. Fed the dogs and gave Vito his shot. I made eggs, bacon and and English muffins for breakfast. Spent the morning watching TV as it rained outside. Around noon it stopped raining so we went to a car show on the north side of town. Came home and spent the afternoon and evening watching TV, relaxing around the house with the dogs. Went to the bedroom to watch TV around 9 PM. The ATT box that was not working right the last few weeks, and I had someone come to the house to repair the problem, didn't work again. I had to reboot the box before I could change the channel and that TV. Guess I will be calling AT&T again. Went to bed around 10 PM after the award show we watched on TV.
This morning I was up and out of bed before 6 AM. Didn't sleep well last night and was up going pee at least 4 times during the night. My prostate one day gets better, the next day not so much better. Called Walgreen's and filled the refill on the antibiotic I am taking for the prostate infection since the 10 day course will not be enough as usual. Guess when you have HIV you need to take a double course of antibiotics just to get better. Called AT&T to make an appointment for them to come to the house to give us new DVR and TV boxes. With the new TV season starting tonight I will have a full DVR by the weekend. I don't need AT&T coming out later in the week and I loose everything when they give us new boxes. They said they would be here between noon and 4 PM. Got showered and met my case worker at ARCW to talk about Medicare and what it means. She is going to get the paperwork together for what I need to fill out to get reimbursed for much of the monthly payment since I have HIV and make so little on social security disability. We have time since it doesn't start until January. Stopped off at Walgreen's to pick up the refill prescription and another 2 week supply of the 7 mg nicotine patch. I made the mistake last Friday of not putting on a patch and by the afternoon I found myself at the store buying cigarettes. Damn, three days down the drain. So I smoked them over the weekend and started back on the nicotine patch today. I only had 2 left and I know if I don't want to fail this time I need to wear it for another two weeks. Every time I tried in the past I never wore the patch more than a week and then the day I don't wear it, I am smoking. Not setting myself up for that this time quitting. Maybe I won't get prostate infections if I stop smoking? I have to try. Came home and the AT&T repair guys showed up around 1:15 PM. They gave us all new DVR and TV boxes throughout the house. If the problem continues after this the only box left will have to be replaced. That is the box with the Internet and such, but at least I will not loose stuff on the DVR if that happens. Took them a couple hours to do all the test and swap out the boxes. The dogs were going nuts locked / caged in the spare room the entire time. What bad dogs I have. Now they are gone and time will tell if the AT&T problem is fixed. Tonight I am so excited about Dancing With The Stars beginning. I love this show. Will DVR the entire CBS lineup tonight which includes How I Met Your Mother, Two And Half Men, Mike and Molly and Hawaii Five O. I could really go for a cigarette about now, but not an option, deep breaths.
September 16, 2011 Friday Dinner Time
Last night before dark I did go over to the homeless man and let him know I brought and left the food for him. He thanked me and told me his name was Don. I then told him he was welcome and hopefully him or his dog would like some of the food. I then went home and we spent the rest of the night watching a few more episodes of Weeds. I do love this show and it is in it's seventh season on Showtime TV. I guess if a show lasts seven seasons it can't be all that bad? Went to bed around 10 PM.
This morning I was up at 6:30 AM. Fed the dogs and gave Vito his shot. Tony left for work by 7:30 AM. Spent the morning doing things around the house. Did another load of laundry in 'the germinator'. Tony calls our washing machine 'the germinator'. LOL. Met Tony at Baker's Square to have lunch with the guys. Had a great lunch and learned a little more about Medicare. These guys have been HIV+ for over 20 years and have a vast amount of information. They are always helpful and know the ins and outs of the system and money. Took a short nap this afternoon. Making left over spaghetti for Tony and a salad. I will eat just a salad and maybe a bagel for dinner since I am not so hungry after a big lunch on Friday's. Only a few plans this weekend. One is a tomato fight on North Avenue, a mile or so from our house, Saturday late afternoon. We will not participate but will watch everyone throw tomatoes at each other. Might go to a street festival during the weekend also. Cold today in Milwaukee and only in the 50s. The furnace was turned on last night and has been on all day.

September 15, 2011 Thursday Dinner Time
After I posted I spoke with the rep at Best Buy 3 times. At one point we had an appointment for Friday, then that got canceled. Then another for today, that got canceled, then she called back around 7:30 PM to tell me someone would be at my house on Thursday at 3 PM to install the washing machine part. Time will tell. Spent the night watching America's Got Talent final. I think Silhouettes should have won, they came in second. Then switched over to see Rachel win Big Brother. She was my choice to win the season of Big Brother. For the most part I was happy. Went to bed around 10:30 PM after a little lovin.
This morning I was up at 6:30 AM. Fed the dogs and gave Vito his shot. Spent the morning doing things around the house and on the Internet. Left for ARCW a little after 11 AM so I could drop off the new prescriptions under this doctor at their pharmacy and see if I could meet with a counselor about my Medicare taking affect January 2012. Spoke a little to the counselor and made an appointment for Monday morning to fill out the needed paperwork to get the State of Wisconsin to help with the payments and co pays. I want to make sure I take the right parts of Medicare. There is a part A, part B, part C, part D, and so much more I just don't understand. Was told today from a friend not to take part C or I will not be able to go to my current doctor? Attended the 2 hour board meeting, then picked up my monthly food at the food pantry in the basement. Got home and unpacked the food. Most I never eat and give away since it is not something we eat. I usually give it to my tenants but am going to give it to this homeless man living in the field behind the woods across the street in a trailer. I saw someone walking back behind the woods the last couple weeks and yesterday I went to see what was going on. Guess he somehow got his camper behind all the trees and is living there with his dog. Since he has a dog I feel the need to help him. I am a dog lover. So I am giving him about 3 bags of food and bread after the washing machine repair guy leaves. I sure hope this part fixes the washing machine or we are back to square one with a crappy front load washing machine. ......
It is now close to 5 PM and the repair guy has installed the new pressure sensor and left. WITH NO IMPROVEMENT! The repair guy says these washing machines are the BEST and he has several. I asked him if he wanted to buy it from me for half the price I paid, and the conversation just kinda ended. LOL. So, I guess this weekend we go washing machine shopping and soon will be buying a new washing machine, a top load with an agitator. Walked across the street and across the field to the woods to give the homeless guy the bags of food. The car was locked so I hung the bags on the camper part. Will spend tonight watching TV shows on the DVR before going to bed. Might end up watching a couple more episodes of Weeds. Tomorrow is lunch with the guys and my best therapy for the week.

September 14, 2011 Wednesday Dinner Time
Spent last night watching AGT Results and a couple episodes of Rookie Blue on the DVR. Went to bed around 10 PM. My back was killing me from the cleaning earlier in the day so I took a pain pill at bedtime. Slept good all night.
Got up this morning at 6:30 AM. Fed the dogs and gave Vito his shot. Tony left for work around 7:30 AM. I soon got into the shower and was out the door to go to the bank and grocery shop so I could get home by 11 AM for the washing machine repair guy. Got home and all by 11 AM. Did a little cleaning around the house as I waited, and waited, and waited. Around 3 PM I called Best Buy Geek Squad to find out when and if the repair guy was coming since it was said to me as he walked out the door last Wednesday that he would be here next Wednesday afternoon to install the part. The person on the phone looked up the order and told me after a half hour on hold, that it is scheduled for tomorrow. I have my board meeting tomorrow and planned on getting my other prescriptions filled and my food for the month all when I am at ARCW tomorrow. As things stand as I type this is that some repair guy is going to call me and come by the house yet today. That was a half hour ago and no one has yet to call. I would really hate to screw up tomorrow since I had so many things I was going to get done all in one day at ARCW. I had it all planned out. Maybe by the time I post the repair guy will have called. Got a letter from Social Security today that says my Medicare begins on January 1st 2012. I was going to check with my counselor tomorrow at ARCW about this and if this once and for all will settle my getting it through Tony and his auto body shop. If this is all true and a good deal, I won't have to get my health insurance through Tony. Still I wait for the phone to ring or a repair guy to come to the door. It is not easy when a repair guy or anyone comes to my house. I have to lock Stella in her crate. I have to lock the other dogs up in a different part of the house or room, making sure my little blind Vito is in a safe room or part of the house. I tell any and everyone to call when they get in the back or front yard otherwise Stella goes crazy and the house is put into a frenzy. I was holding off telling you all the next thing since I have said it before and not followed through. I had my last cigarette Monday and have been wearing the nicotine patch for the last two days. I am trying again to stop smoking and really hope I do it this time. I am ready and it is time. Forget all the health crap, it is going to get cold here soon in Wisconsin and I am not going to stand outside in the cold just to have a cigarette. So wish me luck. Still no call or repair guy. LOL

September 13, 2011 Tuesday Late Afternoon
Yesterday I got to my 2:15 PM doctor appointment at 2 PM. I was not taken into the room by the nurse until 3:15 PM. The doctor did not come into the room until 3:45. After talking with the doctor and all, she filled all the prescriptions I wanted and I headed out the door. Something told me to look at the prescriptions before I drove away. I was glad I did because the doctor forgot one prescription and didn't put a refill on the antibiotic (Doxycyline Hyclate 100 MG) like we had talked about. So I headed back into the doctor's office and a half hour later it was all straightened out. So now this is over 2 hours at the doctor's office. Drove to Walgreen's and waited another 20 minutes for them to fill 3 of the prescriptions, the others I will have filled at ARCW pharmacy on Thursday. Got home and as I was putting the prescriptions I got from Walgreen's away I notice the antibiotic said NO REFILLS. Jeez, I know I got a new prescription from the doctor that said 1 REFILL on it, that was why I waited another half hour and went back into the doctor's office. So then I called Walgreen's to be told they would fix it, it was their mistake. What a bunch of bullshit. Didn't get home until 5 PM from the doctor and Walgreen's. Made left over pizza and salad for dinner. Spent the night watching the first 5 episodes of this season of Weeds on Showtime that I downloaded. Only got through 5 episodes and still have another 6 from this season, which is still going. Went to bed around 10:30 PM.
This morning I was up at 6:30 AM. Fed the dogs and gave Vito his shot. Called my mom and dad in the morning and had a nice talk with both of them about what is going on in both of our lives. I then spent the morning cleaning the bedroom. The entire bedroom. Under the bed, behind the dressers, everything from floor to ceiling. Even mopped the floor. Took until almost noon to get it all done. Made a bagel for lunch and now my back was killing me so I laid on the couch for 2 hours listening to music with the dogs. Showered and made some beef flavored rice for Vito's food. Tony has my car today and was told to get everything he has to fix done in one day. I can go without a car for one day, not two. The part came this afternoon for the washing machine so I hope the repair guy comes back and installs the part tomorrow. I then hope it fixes the water level problem, I am really hoping it fixes the problem or this washing machine is going to the curb. I will go grocery shopping in the morning and hope he calls and shows in the afternoon. Will most likely watch more Weeds episodes in between America's Got Talent tonight on TV. Not much on TV this week but next week the DVR should be smoking from all the recording of the new season. Have to get the DVR cleared and ready for more. Making Hamburger Helper and a salad for dinner tonight. It is in the 70s today in Milwaukee. Tomorrow it is suppose to only be in the 50s all day. Had the air conditioning on yesterday and will need the heat on tomorrow.

September 12, 2011 Monday Afternoon
Was a pretty uneventful weekend. On Saturday we went out for breakfast on our way to a car show. The car show was small and only took a little while to see all the cars. Tony brought home a 1967 Cadillac from work on Friday that he is selling that smelled like it was in a basement. Smelled like mold and mildew even though he said he cleaned it. It was not enjoyable to ride in this car and I am sure I will get sick from it. Came home and spent the rest of the day with the dogs watching TV. Went out for dinner at a nice Italian restaurant here on the east side. Went to bed around 10 PM.
Sunday we were up at 7 AM. Spent the morning watching the 911 memorials. So damn sad and we both cried watching them. I made breakfast and then around 11 AM we went to the south side for another car show, with my car, not the customers Cadillac. After the car show we stopped off at Walmart to pick up two months worth of Insulin and needles for Vito as well as $175 in necessities we needed around the house. Got home a little after 2 PM and spent the rest of the day at home watching TV with the dogs. Made hamburgers and corn on the cob for dinner. Spent the night watching the movie Christopher And His Kind. It was a good movie that took place in Germany around the Hitler time. Christopher was a gay guy and the movie was about his life at that time. Went to bed around 10 PM.
This morning I was up at 6:30 AM. Fed the dogs and gave Vito his shot. Tony left for work around 7 AM. Spent the morning back in bed. My prostate is more painful today and I am glad I go to the doctor in about 2 hours. Hopefully I will get some meds to take away the pain and the infection. This infection makes me feel so tired and I just could sleep all day. Hate wasting the afternoon at the doctor. I love my doctor but she is never on schedule and there are times I don't even see the doctor until an hour after the scheduled time. Making left over pizza from Saturday for dinner tonight with a salad. It is in the 80s today and I just turned on the air conditioning. According to the weather report it should be the last time because by Wednesday it is suppose to be in the 50s and 60s and most likely the furnace will have to be turned on. This is Wisconsin weather.

September 9, 2011 Friday Dinner Time
Got up this morning at 6 AM. Fed the dogs and gave Vito his shot. The last couple days I have been feeling pain again in my bladder area. Probably my prostate again. I am so tired of these prostate infections. This is the third time this year. Called my doctor and made an appointment for 5 PM today. About 10 AM the doctor's office called to say the doctor would not be in today and I would need to reschedule for Monday at 2:15 PM. Guess I spend the weekend in pain. The last time this happened I had my prostate checked by a specialist and was told it was an infection. Why do I keep getting these prostate infections? It's not like I am doing anything that would cause this. Showered around 11 AM and had lunch with the guys at noon. Tony did not come for lunch today since he was busy at the shop. Was able to talk to some of the guys about health insurance through the state of Wisconsin. Sounds like it might not be as bad as I assumed. I hate to change insurance but if it has to happen I am not so afraid anymore. There might be a month in there when one stops and the other then begins and I have a gap. This is not good and will have to stock up on my HIV meds between now and then so I don't run out during the gap. Had a great lunch with the guys. Came home and spent the afternoon doing some cleaning for the weekend around the house. Was great weather again in Milwaukee. In the 70s again today and sunny. No plans for the weekend. No plans tonight. At this point I don't even feel like making anything for dinner since my prostate area hurts so much. Plus everything I eat makes me gassy. Will most likely watch the 911 special on NBC tonight. The stories all week have brought both of us to tears as we hear them. I hope nothing like 911 ever happens again. It changed too many lives for the bad. Have a great weekend. See you on Monday.

September 8, 2011 Thursday Afternoon
After I posted yesterday I got a call from my ex who is our health insurance agent. He said we are at that time again this year where we have to decide what to do about my health insurance. I get my health insurance through Tony's auto body shop and get it reimbursed through ADAP. Well, since I can't marry Tony and I really don't work there, every year the insurance company gives us a hard time and wants us to prove I work at the business. If we could just marry I would be on Tony's plan as his spouse or family. This is another reason why gay marriage is so important. If I loose my health insurance through Tony I will be fucked. I would have to try to get on the state's health insurance which is not as good and a gamble since my social security disability might not last forever. I was so upset I had to take a Valium to calm down and relax. I can not have HIV and no health insurance. I hate this kind of shit. This is one of my big fears. Having HIV and no health insurance, hence no meds to keep me alive. Spent the night watching a few shows on TV before going to bed around 10 PM.
This morning I was up at 6 AM. Fed the dogs and gave Vito his shot. Got in the shower so I would be ready for my 8 AM to noon appointment for the washing machine repair guy to show up. Of course he did not show up until around 11 AM. After doing a little looking at it and running it through a cycle or two he agreed the machine is not filling with the amount of water it should. He said he will order a pressure sensor and that might help the problem. I guess these front load washer have a pressure sensor to gauge how much water should fill the machine. He said it should get at least 4 more inches of water if it was working correctly. The repair guy also told me he gets many complaints about front load washing machines and would not buy one himself. Nice to know now that we have one, and a 5 year warranty to boot. The part should come in next week and we scheduled him to come back next week Wednesday. So I guess next week Wednesday I will be home all day for that repair again. While I was waiting for the washing machine repair guy I called AT&T about the problem I am having with the back cable box. I have to reboot it each night just to change the channel. After the person on the phone did some checking she said it looks like a problem in the telephone lines and will send someone out between noon and 5 PM. It is now after 3 PM and so far no one has come. Why do repair people never come closer to the beginning time they give you rather than the later time? Making some spaghetti and salad for dinner. The windows are open today and it is in the 70s. Perfect outside in Milwaukee today. Tonight we will watch shows on the DVR since there is only sports, reruns, and Obama on TV tonight. Tomorrow is lunch with the guys and the weekend is here again.
September 7, 2011 Wednesday Dinner Time
Spent last night watching America's Got Talent. Went to bed around 10:30 PM after the TV news. I should say, tried to go to bed. Spent all night long trying to get some sleep. Between getting up 4 times to go to the bathroom and just not being able to sleep, I think I got maybe 2 full hours of total sleep.
Got up out of bed at 6 AM. Fed the dogs and gave Vito his shot. Notice I said 'got up' rather than 'woke up' since I slept very little last night. Tony left for work by 7:30 AM. After reading the Milwaukee Journal newspaper, I showered and headed out the door. Went to McDonald's for a bacon egg cheese bagel and then to Pick N Save to do some grocery shopping. Had my mind set on buying a few Airwick air fresheners for the house. Of course Pick N Save did not have the plug in unit, only the refills. So I then headed to Walgreen's where they were on sale. That doesn't happen often. Bought 4 plug in units and 8 refills of the fluid. Put all four around the house. Did a little around the house and took a nap around noon. Got up by 2 PM so I don't have a problem sleeping tonight, like last night. I didn't even want to take a nap because of this but I was so tired from not getting much sleep last night. Making beef ribs, scalloped potatoes and a salad for dinner tonight. It was again cold and in the 50s this morning. It got to the high 60s this afternoon. We went from Summer to Fall over night last Friday. Will spend tonight watching Big Brother and the AGT Results show. Tomorrow I have a repair person looking at the Samsung washing machine to see if there is anything he can do to make it wash the clothes better. I did buy some Vinegar today and did a load of towels with the Vinegar before washing them normal. It did take a little smell out of the washing machine. Will find out tonight how it worked on the towels after Tony uses one after his shower. Either way, I never had to do all this with a top load washing machine. Like I said yesterday, if there is not a fix we are just going to bite the bullet and buy a new washing machine that is a top load and has an agitator. Most today don't even have an agitator. So I will be trapped at home most of tomorrow waiting for the repair guy to come and then do some fixing of the washing machine. Good day for Tony to take my car to the shop for some repairs we have been putting off. There are some funny noises coming from the car when you go over a bump. Tony says he knows what it is, so tomorrow is a good day for him to get it fixed. Hopefully he will have the oil changed and clean it a bit. LOL.

September 6, 2011 Tuesday Dinner Time
Friday night we went to the St. Francis Festival. Ate dinner and sat and listened to the bands for a couple hours before coming home. Had a good time and the weather was still nice. The rain and cold front was approaching. Went to bed around 10:30 PM.
Saturday it rained off and on all day in Milwaukee. There was suppose to be so many block parties and street festivals. Most were canceled and rained out. Ended up spending the entire day at home watching TV. Didn't even leave the house. Watched a bunch of movies and TV on the DVR. Watched the movies Dylan Dog: Dead Of Night, The Perfect Host, and Nation Lampoon's Dirty Movie. The Perfect Host was the best of the bunch. Made a salad and pizza for dinner and went to bed around 10 PM.
Sunday the sun was out but the weather had changed drastically. It as in the 50s when we woke up in the morning. Got in the 60s during the afternoon. We went to a car show early afternoon. Drove the long way home. Fed the dogs early dinner and went to Tony's niece's house around 5:30 PM for a party she was having. Had a hamburger and such for dinner at the party. Stayed for about 2 hours before it started to drizzle and got much colder outside. Spent Sunday night watching more on the DVR before going to bed around 10 PM. I almost have the DVR cleared which is good because the new TV season will start in a couple weeks and then it will be smoking from all the taping.
Yesterday the sun was out and it was in the low 70s. Around noon we went to the St. Martin's Fair. It is a couple mile long rummage sale and farmers market. Spent a couple hours buying some fruit and things we didn't need like sun glasses and reading glasses for a $1.00 and yard ornaments for the back yard. Got home around 3:30 PM in the afternoon. Spent the rest of last night watching TV. Watched the past two episodes of True Blood. I was not impressed with the last two episodes and have kinda had it with the witch story line. Only one episode left and another season over. Went to bed around 10 PM.
This morning I was up at 6 AM. Fed the dogs and gave Vito his shot. Tony left for work around 7 AM. Spent the morning doing some cleaning around the house from the long weekend. Also did a little cleaning of the basement, putting things in there place and in the back of the basement rather than in the pathway. Around 12:30 PM I took a long nap. Ended up taking almost a 3 hour nap. The sun is out again today but it is cool outside. I have a feeling we might have to break down and turn on the heat tonight if it gets as cold as it did last night. Guess Summer is almost over. We will get some good weather again, but it will not last long. Soon the leaves will fall from the trees and the snow will be waist high. Making a beef roast, beans and a salad for dinner. Will most likely watch America's Got Talent tonight before going to bed. Tomorrow I have to go grocery shopping. Thursday I have a repair guy coming to check our front load Samsung washing machine. I just hate this washing machine and have from day one. It just never gets enough water in the machine to wash the clothes and they never seem clean. If it is not a repair issue we are going to buy a new one this weekend. I bought a 5 year warranty on this machine. What a waste of money. Everyone I talk to hates their front load washing machines.

September 2, 2011 Friday Dinner Time
Got up this morning at 6 AM. Fed the dogs and gave Vito his shot. Spent the morning doing things around the house. Left a little early for lunch and stopped off at the bank to deposit the rent check I received today from my tenant. Had lunch with the guys. Had a great lunch and laughed a lot. Came home and took a long nap. I did not sleep well last night and was up more than actually sleeping last night. Could have stayed in bed and slept the afternoon away but got up anyway since I had to vacuum one more time before Tony gets home and the weekend starts, and figure out what to make for dinner. Still not sure what to make. It is very hot today in Milwaukee. It got to 92 degrees. Waiting for a cold front to come through and drop the temperature 20 degrees. Hopefully we will have some good thunder storms with the cold front because we need the rain here in Milwaukee. Should be a big weekend in Milwaukee. To bad tomorrow is not looking good weather wise. Suppose to rain on and off all day Saturday. There are many block parties and events with the Harley Davidson motorcycles and parties everywhere. Harley Davidson has these parties every Labor Day. It usually fills the air with motorcycles all weekend. Have a party to go to Sunday that Tony's niece is hosting. Also will hit a festival or two depending on the weather. Might even go to one of the festivals tonight since tomorrow is looking like a rainy day. Have a great Labor Day weekend everyone.

September 1, 2011 Thursday Night
Yesterday before I left to go let Toby out, his owner called and told me he would be home soon and I did not need to go over to his house. He had two stents and is feeling better. Spent the afternoon listening to the new David Guetta CD. It is good dance music. Made a meatloaf and noodles with a salad for dinner. We spent the night watching Big Brother and America's Got Talent Results before going to bed. The fight we had that morning was behind us and forgotten.
This morning I was up at 6 AM. Fed the dogs and gave Vito his shot. Spent the morning steam cleaning the carpets in the house. We have one big 12 x 15 foot carpet in the living room and various throw carpets throughout the house. The house is smelling like dogs so it was time to clean them. Five dogs will do this to a house. Got them all cleaned. Unfortunately it is hot and humid again in Milwaukee and the windows are closed and the air conditioning on. This is not good for my sinus's and will most likely come down with the sinus infection like I usually do after cleaning the carpets. I can feel the pressure in my face already. I should have waited until next week when it will be cool and the windows open. Will most likely just do them again next week since I am sure they could use another cleaning to get the deep down dirt removed, and the smell also. Spent the afternoon listening to music and doing things around the house. Making Sweet and Sour Chicken and a salad for dinner. Tony is working late tonight at the shop to finish installing a new door on his shop he rents. He should be home soon. Will spend tonight watching Big Brother and Rookie Blue before going to bed. Tomorrow is Friday and lunch with the guys. It is suppose to be in the 90s tomorrow. Too hot for me. Will most likely spend the day indoor except for lunch.
