Saturday we slept in until about 7 AM. Got up and fed the dogs and gave Vito his shot. Spent the day waiting on Tony. LOL. Made breakfast and did things around the house as Tony laid around watching TV enjoying his day off. We really did nothing all day. Fed the dogs dinner and then we went to a family Birthday party around 6 PM. Had a great time at the party and stayed for a couple hours. Came home by 10 PM and went to bed shortly thereafter.
Sunday morning we were both up by 6:30 AM. Fed the dogs and gave Vito his shot. Made breakfast and spent the morning reading the Sunday newspaper. Around noon I got Tony to walk with me to Pick N Save to buy lottery tickets. Walked the bike path to the store and took the streets home. Bought some hot ham and rolls. Around 1 PM Tony's sister showed up at the house to drop off a car that needs fixing. Her husband met her here at the house and then drove them all back home to Illinois. They will drive up again later in the week when the car is fixed to get it. Nice to keep the business in the family. On another note, Tony's brother last week got his 5th drunk driving ticket and has been in jail ever since. This is the looser brother that works for Tony. His daughter called in the afternoon to ask if we could help with his bail. Tony told her he has some wages coming but we not sure how much more we could help. She called twice later to ask for the money sooner than Monday with no luck from us. I am sorry, but I have no sympathy for anyone who gets a 5th drunk driving ticket. Tony and I then got into a little argument about his helping bail out his brother from jail. Of course he used the 'it's my brother' story. I told him that is true, and if it was for anyone else for any other reason we would help. But this is not our mess. The brother has no money and never will. It will be bad enough in the future when he needs money for lawyers and then asks to work again on work release after he spend his time in jail. He will get jail time, again! Tony promised not to give the daughter more than his earned wages, but I have a feeling he will not keep that promise. Spent the night watching TV and went to bed around 10 PM.
This morning I was up at 6 AM. Fed the dogs and gave Vito his shot. Read a little of the morning newspaper and went back to bed for a couple hours. Got up around 11 AM and showered and started my day over again. Went to Walgreen's to buy some sale items which included an electric razor that was on sale for $25 off the price. My electric razor is over two years old and starting to chew up my face so it was time to break down and buy a new one. Spent the afternoon doing things around the house. Making a couple of the steaks Tony bought from the meat vendor for supper tonight with some potatoes and a salad. Will most likely watch a movie tonight because our usual show, Dancing With The Stars, is preempted until 1 AM because of a football game. Damn sports! Will DVR it and watch it tomorrow morning before the results show tomorrow night. It was in the high 40s today in Milwaukee. The temperature is going down as the week unfolds according to the weather man.
i think you are supposed to have the blades sharpened on your razor unless they are throw a ways. i know my husband always had his sharpened.
