November 26, 2011 Saturday Dinner Time

Thanksgiving Day we went to Tony's sister's house for Thanksgiving dinner. Had a nice dinner and we were home by 6:30 PM. Fed the dogs and settled in for the night watching the Lady Gaga TV special. Went to bed around 10:30 PM.

Friday was a waste of a day. I got up at 7 AM. Fed the dogs and gave Vito his shot. Made eggs, bacon and bagel for breakfast. We then just laid around all morning watching TV. Just as we were going to go take a nap, the phone rang. The guys were wondering if we were coming to lunch. OMG! It's Friday lunch with the guys. It totally slipped my mind and Tony's. Was totally off my radar. It really surprised me that I would forget lunch. Is my mind slipping? We were in no ready condition to head out for lunch so we just told them we would not be coming and apologized. Spent the afternoon napping and watching TV. After we fed the dogs dinner and gave Vito his shot we went out for dinner at a cheap Mexican restaurant and then went to the casino. We were not winning anything after we both went through $15, so we decided to just go home. Figured the casino was just taking every one's money. Really a shame when you see the people throwing their money away and probably don't even have next month's rent. So sad people don't have their priorities. Came home and watched a couple movies. Watched the movies Bite Marks and Unhappy Birthday. Both were a little strange but OK. Went to bed around 11 PM.

This morning we were up at 7 AM. Fed the dogs and gave Vito his shot. Spent the morning watching home improvement shows. Around noon we went out to lunch to get out of the house for a while. Came home and spent the afternoon watching TV on the DVR. Not sure if I will make dinner tonight since we both had a big lunch at the restaurant. I did order some gift cards for my sister and her kids today online. I have not started any Christmas shopping yet. Just can not seem to get into the Christmas shopping spirit yet. Will have to wait until the lights and it gets closer to crunch time for presents. No plans yet for tomorrow. Will most likely finish off today watching more TV and movies. We did watch the movies Devils Playground and Captain America this morning and this afternoon. Both were OK but nothing I would have wanted to spend money seeing.
