Yesterday afternoon I did go for a walk along the river, ending at Pick N Save. Bought a few fresh produce items and walked home. Tony brought home from work some spaghetti sauce he got from a friend and I made noodles and a salad, calling it supper. Spent the night watching TV and the movie Friends With Kids. The movie was OK. Went to bed around 10 PM.
This morning I was up at 7 AM. Fed the dogs and gave Vito his shot. Cut the little grass we have in the morning. It was not long all over but needed to be cut and evened. Spent the rest of today just listening to music. Loaded up a bunch of Pet Shop Boys music and spent the afternoon listening to them. I still have not started supper and I think I will wait and see how Tony feels when he gets home from work. If he feels like going out to a car show or just out to supper, we will do that. If he feels like staying home I will throw together some salads and something to go with them. I just don't feel like cooking today. Woke up last night with the cold sweats so I think I might be coming down with Tony's cold. I reread yesterday's post and I have to make something clear. When I refer to the guys that I encountered over the weekend and call them 'kids', to me being 51 years old, anyone under 30 is considered a 'kid'. I am not into guys younger than legal and don't even find them attractive. I am attracted to men, not boys, LOL. Hope that makes everything clearer. Around 80 degrees in Milwaukee today. I was able to spend the morning with the windows open but had to close them by noon and turn on the air conditioning. Looks like it going back close to the 90s later in the week. Sure has been a long hot Summer.

July 30, 2012 Monday Morning
Had an awesome weekend. It is weekends like this why I love living in Milwaukee in the Summer.
Also made this old fart feel yound again.
Friday night the Artbar had a block party in front of the bar. Always have fun at the bar since my partner for 5 1/2 years before Tony and his current partner own the bar. Always get treated well and I enjoy telling people I had a past with the owner as much as he enjoys telling people I am the one who owns the house with the cars in the front yard, here on the Eastside. Always friend we know at the bar. So I always feel a little more important being at the bar. The street was closed off and bands played all night. There also was a 24 hour 5 mile bike marathon that went around the neighborhood and down our street, which started at 7 PM Friday night. So around 6:30 PM we decided to ride our bikes around the neighborhood to see the bike check points, ending up at the Artbar. Spent an hour enjoying the bands and it got a little cool in shorts and a cut off shirt. Noticed this cute kid glancing at me, but just smiled and watched the band. Since it got chilly we rode our bikes home, stopping at two of the bike check off points, checking out the bikers, and then biked home and changed into long pants and shirts. I looked good and felt good. It was about 70 degrees with a nice breeze, and over 700 bikers going around the neighborhood on the marathon. The Eastside was just buzzing with activity with the bike marathon and block parties. Rode back to the block party and had a couple more drinks. As we watched the bands I noticed the scruffy looking hot kid looking at me again. Our eyes met every once in a while and I remembered well 'the dance' from when I was single and on the prowl. It was nice to hear my ex partner tell me 'hey, that hot kid over there is checking you out'. I just smiled and said I noticed him also. Tony soon caught on to this and made a comment also. Tony is not the jealous type in an way so he went along with all the fun. We walked around and every time I would look, this hot guy was looking at me. The cherry on the Sunday so to speak was when the kid and his friends went to walk away, we watched them. As they walked away the hot kid twice turned my way to check me out a couple last times. Tony looked at me and said 'wow, he checked you out twice'. It made my night and I felt good. The bands ended at 11 PM and we were feeling good. We decided to bike down to the bike check point on the way home and watch all the people camping out for the night and partying. As we were standing with our bikes at the check point watching the people a young good looking kid comes up to us and starts a conversation with me, introducing himself as Kyle. Tony just laughed, guess it was my night. I flirted for a while and then introduced my husband of 23 years, Tony, to him. That kinda ended the conversation and we said 'nice to meet you, and good luck in the marathon'. There are check points where you can earn points by doing funny things like getting your hair cut or getting a picture in costume, things like that. This bike marathon is a yearly thing in Riverwest and believe it or not, it is just for fun, no prizes. Yet over 700 are in it in teams, most in costumes and decorated bikes, for 24 hours straight. We left the check point around 11:30 PM and biked home along Humboldt Blvd. As we biked home the streets were filled with people cheering the bikers. We pretended we were one of them and pumped our fists in the air as we drove by the cheers. It was so funny. Got home and after watching a little TV and a quick shower, we went to bed. Of course I was pretty horny from the nights events and we did the lovin thing.
Saturday morning we slept in until 8 AM. Did the lovin thing again before we even got up to feed the dogs. Guess we should go out and have someone try to hit on us more often. LOL. Fed the dogs and gave Vito his shot. Spent the morning watching TV and doing things around the house, and watching the bike riders bike past the house. Around 12:30 PM we decided to drive the 10 blocks to the Brady street festival. A day long festival on about 12 blocks, hippies and fun open minded people. These are the real Eastside of Milwaukee people. Walked around the block party for about an hour and a half before it got so damn hot in the sun we decided to come home for a while and go back up to the festival after feeding the dogs and it gets a little cooler outside. Actually was able to talk Tony into riding our bikes back to the festival and chaining them, which is what we did around 6:30 PM. The ride there was not so bad, Tony complained the entire way. LOL. Walked around the festival and people watched. The festival was packed, but not uncomfortable. The weather was perfect, in the 70s again. I was in a great mood still riding high from the night prior. We had a few drinks and watched the 9 PM drag show. Honestly the drag show is the main attraction of the festival. How many 'straight' festivals do you know has a drag show? We had such a good time. Around 11:30 PM we got back on our bikes and biked home the mile or so. Mind you this is two nights in a row way past our bed time. Got home and after a quick shower we went to bed, doing the loving thing ..... again.
Sunday morning we slept in until 8 AM. Fed the dogs and gave Vito his shot. After reading the newspaper and showering we decided to go to breakfast at the Hubbard Park Lodge in Shorewood. It is the little restaurant we found on our bike ride a few weeks ago and we went for a great fish fry a couple Friday's ago. Mind you, I did not have pure thoughts about going to this restaurant. If you remember when we biked past the place a few weeks ago there was this hot guy who works there sitting outside and I struke up a conversation with him. I did hope we would see him again. We went to the Hubbard Park Lodge and it was one of the best all you can eat family style breakfasts I ever had. Of course it did help that the hot guy I hoped to see walked through the restaurant three times, on the third time stopping at our table to introduce himself and talk with us. Honestly, can this all be happening on the same weekend. He said his name is Noah and he said he was the managing cook at the restaurant. He said he remember me from a few weeks ago when I talked with him out back by the bike trail. He bought us a Mimosa and I was on cloud nine. Tony just grinning. I soon did the right thing and introduced him to Tony. Damn why do I do that. LOL. We finished our drink on the outside patio watching the river flow and birds on the rocks. It really was wonderful and I had a smile from ear to ear. Drove home and spent the day indoors since it got a bit hot outside and Tony was complaining that 'everything hurt' from riding bikes all weekend. I think he also had maybe had enough of guys trying to get to know me or notice me, LOL. Took a nap and later made steaks on the grill with a salad. Spent the night watching TV before going to bed around 9 PM. Of course after a weekend like this, we did the loving thing again. I feel like a 20 year old guy. LOL.
This morning I was up at 7 AM. Fed the dogs and gave Vito his shot. Tony left for work around 7:30 PM with pain pills and cold pills in hand, saying he 'felt like shit'. Guess I tired out the 'old man' this weekend. Spent the morning doing things around the house. Even did a little straightening up of the basement. It is getting hot outside and the air conditioner is back on as of yesterday. Will most likely take a shower after this post and then go to the grocery store to buy a little fruit. We are completely out of any fruit in the house and I do like a couple during the day. I might take a nice nap this afternoon if I don't go for a walk along the river. Maybe go to a car show tonight depending on the weather and how Tony feels after working all day and starting the day not feeling well.
Have to say, it sure felt good to have a couple guys take notice of me over the weekend. There comes a time, like now in my life, where you walk into a room and usually no one even notices you. It felt good to know I 'still have it'. I still have a big smilin grin on my face a day later. If I was single I'd be back at the restaurant asking if the managing cook was on the menu.

July 27, 2012 Friday Afternoon
Spent last night watching TV. Some very needed rain came through around dinner time. Went to bed around 10 PM.
This morning I was up at 7 AM. Fed the dogs and gave Vito his shot. Spent the morning doing things around the house and watching TV as I did them. Showered and had lunch with the guys. Nice lunch as usual. Missed a couple of the guys this week. Still spent the hour laughing and having a great lunch. Spent the afternoon laying on the couch listening to music. It rained again this afternoon for a while, nothing worth helping the drought situation going on here, but it does help the grass. It finally has cooled down to 72 degrees and I opened the windows prior to starting this post. So nice to feel the cool breeze come through the house. Not sure what I am making for supper tonight. Might just throw in a frozen pizza and call it supper. Will most likely spend the night watching TV unless I can get Tony out and for a walk tonight. The weekend is filled with street festivals and such around Milwaukee. Tomorrow day and night is the Brady street festival. Always a fun festival with the main final act being a drag show. Always fun to watching the faces on the 'straight' people as the drag dancers perform. Most have never seen a drag show before and can't believe they are guys. Should be a nice weekend in the 80s. Have a great weekend everyone.

July 26, 2012 Thursday Afternoon
Tony came home at his usual time of 5:30 PM last night from work. When he walked in the door there was this cloud of stink that clouded around him. Guess this is what a man smells like when he works and sweats outside all day. Made him his coffee and had him get in the shower. Even had to pull out the air freshener and spray down the rooms. Spent the night watching TV. I stuck my head outside a couple times during the night and could not believe how hot it still was at 8:30 PM, 91 degrees and humid. Went to bed around 10 PM with my Ipod, listening to my new music mix I made yesterday. Turned off the Ipod around midnight just in time for the rain and storms, Vito now keeping me awake for another hour as he barked at the thunder.
This morning I was up at 7 AM. Fed the dogs and gave Vito his shot. After Tony left for work and I read a little of the newspaper, I went outside and did some yard work. There have been so many leaves and branches falling because of the drought. Raked and blew the side and back yard with the leaf blower. By the time I was finished I was dripping wet. Even though it is only in the 80s today it is so humid you can cut the air with a knife. Feels like I am down south. Spent the rest of the morning listening to and editing the music mix I made yesterday. Got it all uploaded and posted above and also on my music pages. I think this Summer Mix turned out better than the one last week so I replaced it. Give it a listen. Made myself the left over bacon potato soup I bought yesterday for lunch and laid back on the couch for an hour listening to music. I can not stress how humid it is outside, Tony and anyone working outside must be dieing today in the heat and humidity. I see a line of thunderstorms about 2 hours away approaching Milwaukee. Hopefully it will cool things down and bit, or a lot, LOL. Making sweet and sour chicken with rice for supper tonight. Will spend the night watching TV because I am not venturing out in this heat.
The other day I was having one of those 'feel sorry for yourself' moments. I sometimes get them when I am getting dressed in the bedroom and I see the 5 urns from my dogs and the pictures around them. Brings me to tears and gets me thinking. The other day I was thinking 'what would I change if I could do life over again'. I started thinking about little things I might think of changing and of course the big HIV thing comes to mind. I then started thinking though, if I changed even one little thing along my life's path, would that change everything going forward? If so, I don't think I would change a thing. Would it mean I wouldn't have Tony? My house? My current and past pets? I started thinking about what I would change and why, then thinking best not to change anything. A good example would be finding out I have AIDS. Would I rather not have AIDS? Of course. But if I didn't find out over 3 and a half years ago that I had AIDS, look at all the things that might not have happened just in these three plus years. Would Tony and I still be together? Honestly, the AIDS thing has brought us closer together, realizing how precious life is. I wouldn't have Bo because I would have been working and not home on disability. I most likely would not be as close as I am now to my family, once again realizing how short and fragile life is. So, I guess when you think hard and long about what you would change in life you should consider how that would change what you have now. What I have now is pretty much everything I ever dreamed of. I have a loving long term relationship, the best dogs in the world, close friends I can count on, and a family I love dearly. So once again, what would I change, nothing. I should smile and be happy more, realizing this. Guess happiness and life IS what you make of it. I have to make sure I remember this next time I have one of those 'feel sorry for myself' moments.

July 25, 2012 Possum Video Extra
Forgot to mention, last night a baby possum showed up in the back garden house on the nature cams. He was in the back yard grabbing bread and eating it in the garden house. It was cute to watch him go in the back yard, grab bread, and run and hide in the house while he ate the bread. As long as it doesn't hurt my baby rabbit that lives back there. Here is a short cute video of him.
July 25, 2012 Wednesday Afternoon
Tony came home early from work last night. After he showered we went to a car show on the south side at a McDonald's. Walked around the cars, ate some food at McDonald's, and drove home along the lake front. Spent the night watching America's Got Talent. Went to bed around 10:30 PM after a little lovin.
This morning I was up at 7 AM. Fed the dogs and gave Vito his shot. Since I knew we are on our way to another record breaking heat day, I thought it best to get anything I have to do outside done early. Showered and left the house by 10 AM to go to a higher class Pick N Save called Metro Mart in Downtown Milwaukee. The store is about a mile farther than the regular Pick N Save I go to but it is so much more high class with prepared foods and a much better fruit and vegetable selection. We have probably about 5 Pick N Saves in a few mile radius around the part of Milwaukee I live in. Spent over $100 on food. Ended up spending much more than I intended but I did pick up some prepared prime rib for supper tonight. The prime rib was expensive but I felt we deserved it for one night. Ended up being over $15 for the four slices I bought. By the time I got out of the store the temperature had risen over 10 degrees and it was getting humid outside. Drove home and unpacked everything. Watched a little TV before deciding to lay on the bed with the dogs and listen to some music. Not long into the nap the front wireless doorbell started ringing. I honestly didn't even think it worked anymore and was happy about it not working. By the time I got Vito off the bed safely and to the front of the house there was no one at the gate. Didn't think much about it until the doorbell started going off again. Looked outside and no one at the gate. Guess the doorbell is malfunctioning in the heat today. Took the batteries out of the unit and put it aside. I honestly don't even care if we have a working front door bell. Anyone who comes over calls first so anyone using the bell is most likely not welcome anyway. LOL. Figured since I was up I would start doing a music mix with some songs I put together for the next mix. It is about 95 degrees outside at this time. Suppose to hit a record high of 100 degrees again today. This heat and warm Summer is one for the record books. Tony will hopefully be home early today or better be in his air conditioned office. Will heat up the prime rib, make some mashed potato and salad and call it supper tonight. Will then spend the night at home with the dogs watching TV. Damn, it's hot outside here in Milwaukee.

July 24, 2012 Tuesday Afternoon
Spent last night watching two episodes of Falling Skies, and two episodes of True Blood. Both are loosing their appeal. True Blood seems to be going in so many different directions. I think they need to get back to the core cast and not all these other wild stories. Was actually hard to follow so many different plots are going on. Tony slept during most of the shows, snoring on the couch. Went to bed around 10 PM.
This morning I was up at 7 AM. Fed the dogs and gave Vito his shot. Before I could feed the dogs, around 5 AM, Bo woke up with a sick stomach. Was not happy with the red that he puked up. Will have to keep an eye on him. He did eat breakfast and has been fine all day. Spent the morning watching TV and doing very little around the house. Was happy to see we did get a bit of rain last night, but not enough to do any good. Most of the ground was dry by mid morning. Hopefully we will got more rain tonight as fore casted. Went to Walgreen's around 10 AM to buy Tony the green tea he likes that is on sale. Ended up buying him a case of 24 cans. Around noon I decided to sort and file the paperwork and bills from 2012 so far this year. Took about an hour. Will be much easier at the end of the year if I sort and file half way through the year rather than waiting until January and having an entire year's paperwork. Around 2 PM I took all four dogs for a walk around the block, one by one. Bo first, then Stella, then Kali, and Vito just for a short walk up the alley T. It pains me to see Vito bang into things being blind, but he still wants to be like all the other dogs so I try not to treat him too differently, just being more careful watching him. Vito did have fun sniffing the new smells in the alley even though he couldn't see much. I talk to him the entire time so he knows where I am and to stay close to my voice. His little tail waggin like crazy the entire time he was walking. He still wants to do everything any other dog can do, he just needs a little more care and someone watching over him. The little dog still has a lot of spunk in him being Diabetic and blind, going on 9 years old. Still trying to decide if I want to cook supper tonight or just go to a car show and get some food either at the show or on the drive there or back. I know what I would make, just not sure if I want to even start the mess. We did tie our heat record yesterday getting to a steamy 99 degrees in Milwaukee. Thankfully today is a bit cooler and in the 80s. The heat returns tomorrow in the mid 90s before going back down to the 80s for the rest of the week. This sure has been one hot dry summer. Actually one for the record books. We even beat the record for the highest low temperature for the day yesterday. Hopefully tonight we will get more rain as fore casted because everything is bone dry, brown, and the leave are falling off the trees, in July. Plus it has been too hot to go for the walks or the bike rides I would like to take along the river banks.

July 23, 2012 Monday Afternoon
On our way to another record breaking hot day in Milwaukee, approaching 100 degrees.
Saturday morning we were up at 7 AM. Fed the dogs and gave Vito his shot. Vito did not feel like eating so I had to feed him about a half hour later than the other dogs. Spent the morning reading the newspaper and watching home improvement shows. Around noon we decided to drive to Brookfield and go to a car show that was suppose to last until 2 PM. We got there at 12:45 PM and there were 6 cars. Guess there were over 100 and someone falsely thought rain and right before we got there all the cars left. There was no rain. Had a hamburger and a soda at the 6 car show before driving back home. It was hot outside so we spent the rest of the afternoon in the house with the dogs. Took a nap in the afternoon which turned into a little lovin. Fed the dogs supper and around 6:30 PM we went to the lake front festival ground for Italian Fest. Spent the night at the festival. Ran into some friends and Tony's brother and wife. Watched the fireworks with Tony's brother and wife before heading home. Got home a little after 11 PM. Watched a little TV and went to bed around midnight. I could not sleep at first. I think it was due to the three slushy drinks I had at the festival and all the sugar in the drinks. It was hot and they were very refreshingly alcohol free. Plus they were cheaper than the $3.50 bottle water at just $3 a tall cup.
Sunday morning we were up again at 7 AM. Fed the dogs and gave Vito his shot. Took Tony's mom out for breakfast and listened to her stories of what her ghost is doing to her these days. You honestly have to just listen and not comment because his mom blames everything wrong on the ghost and her ghost boyfriend that live in the attic. If you say something contrary to her ghost thinking she tells you out right you are wrong and that it is caused by the ghost. Crazy hey? I hope there never comes a day when she needs to move in with us. The three of them would be too many. LOL. Dropped her off at home and went to the pet store to return the two collars I bought for Kali to control her licking, that did not fit. Got my money back and bought a new tag for Bo since his is so chewed you can't read it. Took the long way home along the lake front. Spent the rest of the day indoors due to the heat. Made steaks on the grill and had mashed potatoes and salad with the steaks. Spent the night watching TV and then the movie Intruders. The movie was horrible and a waste of 2 hours. Went to bed around 10 PM and sleeping after a little lovin.
This morning I was up at 7 AM. Fed the dogs and gave Vito his shot. Spent the morning cleaning the house. Three loads of laundry, and cleaned the kitchen. It is suppose to get to 100 degrees today in Milwaukee, which will be another record breaker. Took a nap with the dogs this afternoon. I am hoping Tony comes home soon since he should not be out working in this heat. My tenants are home again from work since it is too damn hot outside to be up in a tree cutting branches with sweat dripping in your face. Making a beef roast and noodles for supper tonight with a salad. Will most likely spent the night getting caught up on the past two episodes of True Blood before going to bed. I am positive we will not be going out in this heat tonight. Nothing could make me leave this nice cool house unless the power when out.

July 20, 2012 Friday Morning
Met my sister, her husband, two kids, and mom and dad at the parking lot near the boat dock. Got on the boat with the family. The weather was actually cloudy and cold, which I will not complain about with all the recent heat we have had. Had a great boat trip around the Milwaukee shores. Was glad it was cool and would not have gone on the tour if it was in the 90s like it has been recently. It was so nice to spend time with my sister and her kids, much less my parents. Tony enjoyed the boat ride also and I know he was glad he took time out of work to do the trip. An hour and a half later we returned to the dock. When we got to the dock it started to drizzle. We walked to a local restaurant and had a very nice dinner together. Thanks again Patti for picking up the tab. By the time supper was over it was raining a little harder and Tony and my sisters husband went and got the cars and picked us up out front of the restaurant. We said our goodbyes and headed home. Fed the dogs and spent the night watching TV before going to bed around 10 PM after a little lovin. I did also sit and enjoy the hot tub for a while before going to bed. It was cool enough outside to enjoy it. Here are a few pictures from the boat tour of the Milwaukee river and shoreline.
This morning I was up at 7 AM. Fed the dogs and gave Vito his shot. Tony left for work around 7:30 AM. Spent the early morning watching the news coverage of the shooting at the Colorado movie theater. What the hell is wrong with people? So sad to watch the heartache. Of course it goes without saying how horrible something like this is to the innocent people who went to this show. I do have to vent though on something I heard on the news as they reported it. It was said there were babies in the theater and a 3 month old was one of the people shot. What the hell is a parent taking a 3 month old to a midnight showing of any movie? Not only should the kid be in bed sleeping, but the kid could cry and disturb the movie for everyone else. When did parents become so selfish that when they decide to have kids, whether it was planed or not, can't give up a midnight movie for the well being of their kid. I see this all the time at firework displays also. Selfish parents brings babies or dogs to the fireworks, scared out of their wits not know what the noise is. Much less a kids ears are so sensitive they should not be at a firework display much less a very loud Batman movie. They chose to have children. Yes, you will have to give up something because of this decision. Stop putting the burden of your child on other people. Any kid less then 18 should not have been out at a midnight showing. They should be in bed and can see it any day going forward, the same damn movie. Don't they have a curfew in Colorado? It is just bad parenting.
Today is Friday so I had lunch with the guys. Of course we had a lot to talk about with all the news and events in each of our lives. It is 80 degrees in Milwaukee today. A cool day but the heat is set to return slowly over the weekend and we are to be 97 degrees on Monday, and in the 90s the rest of the week. Guess I will be cooped up in the house again this weekend and next week since I just can not take the heat and do anything out in it. Such a shame because there are so many events and festivals we could go to if it wasn't so damn hot outside. Tonight I will make supper, most likely a salad and something lite for supper. Will hopefully talk Tony into going for a walk since after today it will be too hot to do a walk. No plans this weekend but there is so much going on around Milwaukee we will most likely keep busy going to one festival or another.
Here is a short video of the Milwaukee lakefront from the boat. Milwaukee really does have a very pretty lakefront.

July 19, 2012 Thursday Afternoon
Spent last night watching TV. Went to bed around 10 PM.
This morning I was up at 7 AM. Fed the dogs and gave Vito his shot. Went grocery shopping in the morning, which turned out to be very frustrating between not being able to find the sale items and Pick N Save being out of the items. Ended up buying less than $30 in food and groceries. Took an hour nap with the dogs. Tony just walked in the door. He came home early from work because we are going on a boat tour of Milwaukee with my sister, her husband, two kids and my mom and dad. All are driving into town and we are meeting them at the boat dock. Taking the Iroquois boat tour along the Milwaukee shores. Will most likely get home late if we go out to supper with them after the hour and a half boat tour. The dogs will eat late tonight. It is cloudy today in Milwaukee. We got some very needed rain last night. I will post some pictures tomorrow of todays boat tour.

July 18, 2012 Wednesday Afternoon
The kid got picked up around 4:30 PM yesterday. Was nice to have my house and home back the way it should be. Ended up ordering some subs from Jimmy John's for supper. After supper we took a walk up to the fire and spent and hour or so talking with the owner and some of the employees. Came back home and spent the night watching TV before we went to bed around 9 PM to watch an hour of TV in bed.
This morning I was up at 7 AM. Fed the dogs and gave Vito his shot. Spent the morning cleaning the house since I did not get any cleaning done while the kid was here. Took Vito to the vet at 11 AM to have his nails trimmed. He was a good boy, but it is very hard to drive a blind dog to the vet, holding him the entire time since placing him on a seat scares the heck out of him, not knowing where he is. So I got him to the vet and back home on my own. Thankfully the vet is only about a mile away. Took a nice two hour nap this afternoon with the dogs. After I am done with this posting I am driving to Little Caesar's Pizza to grab a $5 pizza for supper tonight. Tonight we go to see the play Billy Elliot. Looks like a good play and hope we enjoy it. Today it was in the 80s. We did break another record yesterday getting up to 100 degrees in the afternoon. This has been one hot dry summer.

July 17, 2012 Tuesday Afternoon
Last night we figured we would make the kid watch a classic movie so we watched the movie It's A Mad Mad Mad World. I don't think the kid appreciated the movie as much as we did, watching it again. There are so many big name stars in this movie, but as a kid, he did not know any of them. He did enjoy the movie, but not as much as I had hoped. Around 10 PM we put the kid to bed in the spare bedroom and we went to bed after a little lovin.
This morning we were up at 7 AM. Fed the dogs and gave Vito his shot. My plan was to take the kid to Discovery World Museum on the Milwaukee lakefront. A little after 9 AM I was looking out the window and asked the kid if it looked smokey or hazy outside. In no time at all a fire truck went past the house and turned down Center street. I grabbed the kid and said 'lets go see where the fire is'. As we got down the alley the smoke was so heavy you could not see in front of you. We went a block up Center street and could see the flames shooting out of an auto body shop that Tony does business with and we know the family and owners well. I asked a person on the street if I could use his cell phone and called Tony at work and told him his buddies auto body shop was burning. We watched the fire for a while and went back home to get the camera and some water since it was heading towards 100 degrees today in Milwaukee. We met Tony on the other side of the fire, having to walk around the block to get around it from all the police tape and fire equipment. Watched the 5 alarm fire for a while and when Tony went back to work in tears, we headed home. Tony does a lot of business with this auto body shop and knows the owners well. Drove to McDonald's, again, and bought some lunch for the kid and me. Took lunch to the fire and watched the building burn for another hour or so in the 98 degree heat. Thankfully we chewed on ice cubes to stay cool. The house still smells of smoke and if you go outside it is just a horrible smell. Funny thing, the guy who accidentally started the fire was a past employee of Tony's. Guess he was working on a gas tank and the light above fell and when the bulb broke the gas tank exploded. Flames went to the ceiling and in no time the entire auto body shop and 10 loft apartments above were all in flames. Biggest fire of the year so far in our neighborhood. Thankfully everyone got out safe. Since we spent the day at the fire we had no time to go to Discovery World. Unfortunately the kid is leaving a day early, today, around 5 PM. I honestly am counting down the hour because from being in the heat watching the fire I am so tired I think I will go to bed the minute the car pulls away with him in it. Tony will come home exhausted working in this 100 degree heat. We even broke another all time heat record today in Milwaukee. Will most likely spent the night watching America's Got Talent, if we can keep our eyes open, and then to bed. Not even hungry or feeling like cooking tonight so it might turn out to be a Jimmy John's night. Here is a picture and a short video from today's 5 alarm fire 3 blocks from our house.

July 16, 2012 Monday Afternoon
Friday night we went out for a fish fry here at a new restaurant, at least it was new to us. Had a great fish fry and potato pancakes for supper. Came home and spent the night watching TV. Went to bed around 10 PM after a little lovin.
Saturday morning we were up at 7 AM. Fed the dogs and gave Vito his Insulin shot. Spent the morning doing thing around the house, even cleaned out a rain gutter that was clogged. Around noon we left to go to the family pool party about an hour away from home. Spent the afternoon swimming and eating. It was very hot, in the 80s, but there was thankfully a nice breeze. The pool water was 87 degrees. Left the party around 5 PM with two of Tony's nephews. Dropped off the 14 year old at his biological dads house and brought the other one, the 8 year old, home for a couple days to spend with his Uncle Dave and Tony. Spent Saturday night watching TV and having fun with the kid. Went to bed around 11 PM after a little lovin.
Sunday we were up at 7 AM. Fed the dogs and gave Vito his shot. Got the kid up and started the day. Went out for breakfast at George Webb's and then went to Walgreen's to pick up a couple prescriptions and cruise the toy isle with the kid. Came home and after a while we left the house again and went to the south side of town to the South Shore Festival. Walked around for almost 2 hours until the heat got to us and it was time to come home. The kid had fun climbing the big wall and playing some game. Tony enjoyed the car show. I sweated and wanted to be home in the air conditioning. Spent the rest of the afternoon playing with the dogs and the kid at home in the nice cool air conditioning. After we fed the dogs supper we walked to Tracks, a bar 2 blocks away, and had hamburgers for supper. After we ate we took a long walk down to the river and back home. The kid and I had a great time, Tony couldn't wait to get home. We all were wet from the walk it was so hot and one by one we all took a shower. Spent the rest of the night watching the movie We Bought A Zoo. It was a good movie. Went to bed around 10 PM.
This morning I was up at 7 AM. Fed the dogs and gave Vito his shot. Tony left for work around 7:30 AM. I instructed him to take it easy today at work since it is to get to 98 degrees here in Milwaukee today. It is at that now as I type this. The kid and I took Stella to the vet around 11 AM to get her toe nails trimmed. Came home and a little while later we left to go to the pet store to buy a cone collar for Kali so she can't lick herself, then to McDonald's for lunch, and then to Toys R Us to buy some toys. Gave the kid a $25 budget and we only went over it by $2. I figure we can spoil the kid. Hopefully he will remember his Uncle Dave and Tony after we are dead and no longer around one day. After the toy store the kid went with me to my HIV doctor appointment to get me latest round of blood test results. He sat in the waiting room like a good boy. I would adopt this kid if I could. He just wants to be away from his sister and is happy to just be here at our house. He never asks for anything and when you ask him if he wants something the answer is always 'no thank you'. Good news again. My TCell count went up again, now at 512 from 504. Always nice to see those number increasing. My percentage went up one percent to 26%, which is what we want. I am still undetectable and was told that this new test even is more accurate than the past one and at this point I am less than 20 copies per ml. Doctor told me this means that the HIV is not even showing up in my blood test any more I am doing so good. Of course this doesn't mean I can stop the HIV drugs since the HIV would then come back, but it means I have so little of the virus in my body that it would be unheard of to infect someone. Of course this is all good news. I did discuss the throwing up and was told to switch from Zantac 75 to a better antacid like Nexium or Prevacid. Since I have both at home I will start taking them at bed time starting tonight. Hopefully this will help with the throwing up in the morning. Like I mentioned earlier, it is so damn hot in Milwaukee today it is uncomfortable to even go outside for a minute. It is 98 degrees, tomorrow is to be much the same. Tonight we will stay home. I am making a meat loaf and scalloped potatoes for supper. Will most likely spend the night watching more movies and playing with the dogs and kid. Bo loves Anthony and wants to play all day with him. Tomorrow the kid goes home later in the day. Thankfully we don't have to drive him half way home to the Wisconsin Illinois border since the other brothers biological father will drive him and his brother to meet their mom at the border. So I only have one more day to entertain the kid and have fun. Wish it was nicer outside. With this heat we are stuck doing everything indoors. The kid has not bothered me once since we got home, just happy putting his new cardboard plains together and flying them across the room. For anyone who doesn't live in the USA that reads my blog. I think the USA is about to have another dust bowl. The price of food is going to double if not more I bet from the lack of rain and crops dieing. You hear reports daily from farmers losing everything it has gotten so bad. The animals are in just as bad shape since the farmers depend on those crops to feed the animals. Some farms are having to just give up. It is very sad. You hear of all the floods on the other side of the world and have to wonder what is going to happen to this planet in the coming years. The trees here are losing their leaves already. It looks like fall at times when the wind blows from the falling leaves and it is July. It really scares me. Thankfully I am 51 and by the time I die it will hopefully still livable on the earth. Just my thoughts. I think the planet is going to get very hot and life is going to be very different in the future because of it, from where we live to what we eat, to what we pay for everthing.

July 13, 2012 Friday Afternoon
Last night we did indeed go to Bastille Days here in downtown Milwaukee. My high school friend did not come because of a family emergency. Tony and I had a good time and ran into a lot of friends at the festival. By 10 PM it was still so hot and we decided to call it a night. Got home and went to bed after a quick shower.
This morning I was up at 7 AM. Fed the dogs and gave Vito his shot. The water company person showed up around 8:45 AM to put a new meter on the water coming into the house. Of course since the house is so old she did not want to mess with it because she was afraid the pipe might break if she shut the water off and turned it back on. Guess we will need to call a plumber to put a new valve on the before the new meter since the valve is so old and rusted. In fact she said we should take care of this fast or we could have a broken main water pipe in the basement and a flooded basement. It is also dripping slowly so I will have to break down and hire a plumber. Have to wait though, I was told, until sometime in a week when the water company comes out and uncovers the main turn key under the ground, that she says is buried. Was told it will cost around $500 for a plumber and the new valve, great. After she left I drove to the grocery store and bought some hamburgers for tomorrows pool party and some flowers for the host. Went and had lunch with the guys which is always fun. Came home and watched my tenant and his girl friend climb the back tree. My tenant cuts trees for a living and was teaching his girl friend how to climb. It was fun to watch until the rain came. Yes, rain, it rained for about a half hour. We were lucky, most around Wisconsin got no rain and the little we got will do very little to help the severe drought. Guess we were categorized as severe drought yesterday here in Wisconsin it is so bad. Some of the lake have actually dried up and there are grass fires every where daily on the news. Tonight we are going out for a fish fry. It is a Wisconsin thing to go have a Friday fish fry. Deep fried cod and potato pancakes. We are going to the little restaurant we found when we took the bike ride last Sunday. Tomorrow is Tony's family pool party. It is suppose to be close to 90 so it will not be fun. Was told the pool is close to that temperature it has been so hot. After the party we get Tony's nephew for a couple days. So if you don't hear from me I am busy keeping an 8 year old busy. I think we might have him until Wednesday. I will be exhausted each day not being able to take a nap with the kid here and all. Plus it is going to be so hot, going outside to do anything will not be an option. Guess we will be going to the museum or something Monday or Tuesday. That's about it, have a great weekend everyone.

July 12, 2012 Thursday Dinner Time
Last night we drove to Franklin for Tony to appear in court for his ticket. The ticket was dismissed but we still had to pay a $28 court fee. Of course this fee would not have been if Tony had just sent in the information rather than waiting for court. Went out for a nice steak dinner after. Was good but not as good as the first time we ate at this restaurant. Got home and spent the night watching TV, going to bed around 10 PM.
This morning I was up at 7 AM. Fed the dogs and gave Vito his shot. Did things around the house all morning as I went back in time, listening to Supertramp and Alan Parsons Project music. Brings back my college days. Took a nice two hour nap with the dogs. Still not feeling 100% today, just tired and having stomach issues. I think it is the heat making me feel like doing nothing. I am getting so tired of this heat. It is in the 80s again today in Milwaukee. The air conditioning is on and the meter is spinning. Got out monthly bill yesterday and it went up $90 from all the air conditioning the last month, being so hot. Tonight we are going to Bastille Days here in Milwaukee. It is a great festival downtown Milwaukee and runs through Sunday. Hopefully a high school friend of mine is going to meet us at the house and go with us to the festival. The two of us have been trying to get together for some time now and hope this works out. Wish there was a pill or two I could take to wake my brain up since this cup of coffee is doing very little. Tomorrow morning I have someone from the water company coming to the house to put in a new meter they can read from the street. Hopefully the person will be on time, good looking would also be a plus. The heat is returning here in Milwaukee and we are to go back into the 90s for the weekend. YUCK!

July 11, 2012 Wednesday Afternoon
What a difference a day can make. Yesterday I had so much energy, took a walk and a bike ride all in one day. Today I have no energy and just want to lay on the bed or couch. Spent last night watching America's Got Talent and went to bed around 10 PM when the news came on TV. This morning I got up at 6 AM because my bowels were killing me. Ended up also throwing up bile for a while in a container as I sat on the toilet. Yah, pretty picture hey? I hate these damn HIV meds. Monday I go to my HIV doctor and will stress how this is getting worse. When I mentioned it last time the doctor asked how many morning and when I said a few, he was not concerned. Yah I know there was a time when people threw up the meds all the time, when they took tons of pills, but this is not good for my body. When I was finished emptying both ends, I fed the dogs and gave Vito his shot. Read a little of the morning newspaper and headed back to bed. Laid in bed listening to music until around 12:30 PM. Got up and made a sandwich for lunch and turned on the air conditioning since it was getting close to 80 degrees outside. Showered and been just watching TV. I honestly could go right back to bed. I know if I do go back to bed I will not be able to sleep tonight. Tonight Tony will be home from work by 4:30 PM so he can shower and we can drive all the way to Franklin for his court appearance for the Monster Car ticket he got over a month ago. Will then go out for dinner at the steak restaurant we found the last time we attempted to do court on the wrong day and date. I am looking forward to the french onion soup with the cheese and crouton baked on top. I accomplished nothing else today and feel just beat. Honestly the worst part of have HIV is the fact you never know how your going to feel from one day to the next. One day you can be on the top of your game feeling so much energy. The next day or days you just want to sleep and have no energy. You never know so it is hard to plan ahead and make and major plans. I don't know how anyone holds down a job on HIV meds. Yah, they keep us alive, but sometime the quality of life is not so good. Guess the alternative is death, so what is one to do but just keep taking the HIV meds.

July 10, 2012 Tuesday Afternoon
Yesterday afternoon I did not end up going for a walk like I had wanted. I did get the pond vacuumed once the sun was behind the back yard tree, making some shade. Ended up making Taco's for supper last night. Spent the later part of the night watching the past two episodes of True Blood and the news before going to bed. I couldn't sleep. After a little snuggling I was able to arouse Tony and we did the lovin thing. Was able to fall asleep just fine after that.
This morning I was up at 7 AM. Fed the dogs and gave Vito his shot. Spent the morning posting my newest music mix and updating the web pages that go along with the music mixes. The mix I posted today is a bunch of my current favorites in a long mix. Most the songs are extended versions of the original. After I was done working on the Internet I showered and went for a nice 2 mile walk along the river. Everything is so dry. The poor trees and plants all are dieing from lack of rain. Came home and made a couple taco's from last nights left overs for lunch. Decided to take a long bike ride along the bike trails Tony and I discovered last weekend, down to the lake front. Had a great bike ride and took a bunch of pictures of the bike trail from Locust Street to the lake front condos. The first picture shows how dry and brown the grass is in the park going to the bike trails. Some other pictures of note are the Ecology Center Building, the private gardens along the trail and all the bridges you go under on the way down to Lake Drive and the festival grounds along Lake Michigan.

As you can see, it is a very nice bike trail all the way from our house to the Milwaukee lake front. What is so nice about it is the fact that it is such a gradual downward slope you never have to really go back up hill to go home. You always feel your biking a level trail.
Tonight I am making salads and a frozen pizza for supper. I figure this might be the last time a cook dinner until next week since we have plans every night after tonight. Will most likely stay home tonight watching TV. Tomorrow night we go back to court for Tony's ticket. At least I will get a great steak dinner and french onion soup for supper tomorrow night because of having to go do this ticket thing twice. YUM.

July 9, 2012 Monday Morning
Friday night Tony did indeed come home very tired from working in the 90+ degree heat all day. We ended up making some salads and left overs from earlier in the week for supper. Spent the night watching TV before going to bed around 10 PM. Did the lovin thing and sleeping by 10:30 PM.
Saturday morning we woke up around 6:30 AM to a wonderful 72 degrees and a nice breeze. The heat wave had broke. Turned off the air conditioning and opened all the windows. Spent the morning reading the local newspaper. Around 11:30 AM we decided to go down to the lakefront and Bradford beach. Actually Tony's idea. Walked the Lake Michigan beach and sat and watched the volleyball players play and sweat as we had a strawberry Margarita and a hamburger. The lake water was horrible looking and we could not believe people were actually swimming in it. The Algae made the water green. It was hard to even watch people swimming in it. Spent about and hour watching the volleyball guys and headed home. Was nice to do something different and surprised Tony suggested it. Came home and took a short nap which again turned into the lovin thing. Made some steaks on the grill with a salad and went for a long walk along the river banks. Took us about and hour and a half. Of course I enjoyed it, Tony tolerated it. I do try to make the walk fun for him. Came home and watched the movie Going Down in La La Land. It was really a good movie. Hard to find good gay themed movies. This was one worth searching out and renting. Went in the hot tub for a while which got us all romantic, taking us into the bedroom to do the loving thing for the third time this weekend. Went to bed around 10:30 PM.
Sunday morning we were again up by 7 AM. Fed the dogs and gave Vito his shot. Spent the morning reading the newspaper. We then decided to get the bikes out of the basement and fill the tires in hope of going for a bike ride. The last time we took a bike ride we were both sore for days. Went on one of the best bike rides I have been on that I can think of. We decided to check out the bike trail on the east side of the river that goes from Capital Drive (near where we have lunch on Friday's) and take the bike path all the way to the Festival grounds at the lakefront. We first rode all the way to the lakefront, surprised that this trail got us there so fast and why we had never done this before. Along the bike path there are little 'cities' of farms where people tend little gardens. It was like being in a totally different city. Wish I had brought my camera. I was so impressed and we then rode back to where we started and biked north to Capital Drive. Had lunch outside at Culver's and biked back home. Stopped off at the little restaurant off a Shorewood park to check out their menu. We will have to go to this restaurant on a Friday for a fish fry (a Wisconsin thing) or Sunday brunch. I once again was so surprised we had not ever seen or heard of this park restaurant. The final push home was painful to say the least. By the time we got home both our butts and legs were killing us. We actually both laughed at each other making the final walk into the living room. Was hard to even walk up the back steps into the house, LOL. Took an hour rest / nap before getting up and spending the rest of the afternoon just hanging out with the dogs around the house. Decided to walk to the Italian restaurant up the street for supper. It was closed so we walked to a different corner bar restaurant we have not ate at in years. When will I remember this restaurant is closed on Sunday's. Had a very nice supper sitting out on the sidewalk table watching the people and cars go by. Finished off the night watching two good movies. Watched the movies Insight and Man On A Ledge. Both were great movies. Went to bed around 10 PM.
What a great weekend we had. Wish every weekend could be this fun.
This morning I was up at 7 AM. Fed the dogs and gave Vito his shot. Got going on things around the house right away. I already am on my fourth load of laundry, vacuumed the house, fixed an outdoor sidewalk path light and soon will get in the shower. It is getting hot outside and suppose to get to 80 degrees. Of course I am not complaining since I know from last week it could be much worse. We did turn the air conditioning on last night to get a good night's sleep, since there was no breeze and the house inside was hotter than it was outside. Will most likely have to do the same later today when it gets closer to 80 degrees. I would like to go for a walk along the river this afternoon, taking a bag to pick up trash. When we walked the other day there was so much trash from all the 4th of July parties in the park and their garbage blowing into the river area. Also could not believe how low the water level on the river is. You can almost walk across it in places. We need rain so bad here in Wisconsin. Was going to vacuum the pond but it is just to sunny over it right now and getting too hot. Will have to wait until some shade later this afternoon or do it early some morning. That's it for this posting. I have to say I had one of the best weekends I can remember. Looking at the calender this weekend could be just as fun. We might even have the two nephews for a night or two this weekend, which I truly enjoy.

July 6, 2012 Friday Afternoon
Yesterday we broke another heat record. It got to 103 degrees in Milwaukee yesterday. That is a record for that day and it is only 2 degrees off the all time hottest it is ever been in Milwaukee. Not at all fun to be out in this heat. I spent the afternoon making and listening to a new mix of my favorite dance songs. Hopefully I will get it posted next week. Made supper last night and we spent the night watching TV. Watched a couple episodes of Falling Skies and then the movie Shame. The movie Shame was not good. Very boring. Went to bed around 10 PM after some lovin.
This morning I was up at 6:30 AM. Fed the dogs and gave Vito his shot. Cleaned out the pond pump early before the heat returned, though it seems it never even cooled down over night. Borrowed the neighbors sprinkler and let it run for a while in the back where the rabbits and birds hide. Most of the brush is feeling the heat and wilting. Drove to the grocery store and bought some fresh produce for the weekend. Spent the rest of the day listening to Pet Shop Boys and doing nothing. It is 92 degrees right now, still so damn hot. We did not have lunch with the guys today due to most of them being out of town. Tonight Tony and I plan on going out to dinner and then going to a show at a local theater here on the Eastside. The show is called Dead Man's Carnival and is suppose to include Burlesque, Acrobatics, Strong Man Extreme Juggling and Fire Eating. Honestly if Tony comes home tired and doesn't want to go I will not be disappointed. I have no energy and just feel like doing nothing because of this heat. I think it is finally catching up on me, I can just imaging what people who work in this heat are feeling. No plans this weekend. Looking forward to the cooler 80 degree temperatures coming after today.

July 5, 2012 Thursday Morning
Hot! Hot! Hot!
Yesterday was so hot in Milwaukee it was down right miserable. We set a record for the hottest 4th of July EVER at 102 degrees yesterday. The record was 98 degrees. It was so hot the small breeze felt like you were standing in front of an oven. Needless to say, we did very little. Got up around 7 AM. Fed the dogs and gave Vito his shot. Went out for breakfast at Baker's Square and then killed some time shopping at Big Lots. Bought stuff we didn't need and came home to spend the day indoors, in the air conditioning. We tried to take a nap in the afternoon, but that turned into 'the lovin thing', and after that was done, Tony fell asleep, and I was wide awake ready to do something. Honestly I am starting to go a little crazy being indoors so much and not getting out to do much of anything due to the extreme heat. After we fed the dogs supper we decided to walk, yes walk, in the then 99 degrees, to a bar a couple blocks away. Got there to find they didn't serve food on the holiday. Walked to another bar we knew of to find they did not have food either. By the time we got home I thought I was going to pass out. Ended up order two subs from Jimmy Johns. Spent the night watching a movie called Lost Woods. The movie was not good. Around 9:10 PM we went up to our second floor deck to watch the fireworks around the Milwaukee skyline and at 9:30 the fireworks from the park a block away. The fireworks appear to be right over our heads. Best seats for the park display. Now this isn't the biggest and best fireworks, but they are right out our door. Was actually surprised they even had the fireworks since a lot around here have been canceled due to everything being so dry and a fire could start with any spark. Went to bed and watched a little TV before we finally went to sleep. I did not sleep well all night and was up here and there.
This morning I was up at 6 AM. Fed the dogs and gave Vito his shot. Had to get my blood drawn this morning or tomorrow for my next HIV doctor appointment in a week and a half. Figured I would just get it over today so I went to St Mary's hospital and had them stick me and drain my blood again. Never a problem finding a vein. In fact this nurse was so good I never even felt the prick of the needle. I let her know she was good. The last time I had my blood drawn I felt the prick and thought the nurse must be having a bad day, giving out pain. So I was happy when it was all over and I could come home. Stopped off and bought a bacon egg cheese bagel at McDonald's on the way home. In a little while I have to head to ARCW and get my months worth of HIV drugs. Will pick up my food at the pantry for the month while I am there. After that, I have nothing planned. It is suppose to be even hotter today than it was yesterday. We could even break an all time hottest ever record today of 106 degrees. We still have Friday yet which is to be as hot. By Saturday some relief finally comes and it is to be in the 80s. I will call Tony at noon today and find out if he is taking it easy in his office. If I find out he is out in this heat I will put my foot down and tell him to come home. No one with a heart condition should be working in 105 degrees. I will most likely spend the afternoon napping or just listening to music with the shades closed. I think this is taking a toll on the outdoor animals. I found a dead baby bird on the ground under the nest yesterday. Most likely died due to the heat and the Martin house getting to damn hot. I was pleasantly surprised to see my editorial I sent in to the Milwaukee Journal last week in the paper today. My name and all under my editorial. The phone should start ringing soon with friends asking if that is me. I did get a call on Tuesday from the editor of the Journal saying my editorial would be in the paper. Still always nice to see it in print. The letter I wrote is in one of my post last week, you can page down and read it. It is 9:30 AM and the thermometer already reads 91 degrees. Off to another hot hot day in Milwaukee.
July 3, 2012 Tuesday Afternoon
Spent last night watching America's Got Talent. Went to bed at 9 PM to watch the last hour of the show. Ended up doing the loving thing before we went to sleep around 10:30 PM.
This morning I was up at 6:30 AM. Fed the dogs and gave Vito his shot. After Tony left for work I read a little of the newspaper before going back to bed. I have no energy in this heat. It did rain a bit this morning, and boy, do we need the rain. Not enough to do any good, just make the afternoon more humid. Went back to bed until about noon. Got up and ate a ham sandwich for lunch. Spent the afternoon listening to music and getting some songs together for a Summer Mix. Tony just called and ask what car he should bring home. The Monster Car does not have air conditioning. I told him we are going no where the next couple days. He said 'I'll bring home the truck with air'. The thermometer says it is 93 degrees in the shade here in Milwaukee today. When your in the sun you feel like your baking in an oven. Tony said he will be home soon, this heat is getting to him also. Yesterday he was home by 4:30 PM which is very rare. I am sure he will be home soon. I think we will go up the street for $1 tacos and strawberry margaritas tonight since I refuse to cook tonight in this heat. There are the big fireworks here on the Milwaukee lakefront tonight. We will watch them on TV in the air conditioning. Tomorrow and the next couple days are to be just as hot here in Milwaukee. Will spend a lot of time at home or somewhere indoors the next couple days. Most likely spend a lot of time watching movies or TV. Went to water the plants when I got up this morning in the back yard, had to stop and not water since my baby Mourning Dove and bunny were both keeping cool in the bushes and I didn't want to disturb them. Thankfully it rained a shot time later.
Happy 4th Of July to all my followers.

July 2, 2012 Monday Afternoon
Friday night we took a long walk along the river. Brought a can of beer for Tony and a wine cooler for myself. I enjoyed the walk. Tony was just happy it was over, since I told him he would not have to go on any more the rest of the weekend due to the heat. Spent the rest of the night watching the movie The Perfect Family. Very good movie. Well worth renting. Went to bed around 10:30 PM after a little lovin.
Saturday morning we woke up around 6:30 AM in each others arms. Did the loving thing before getting up and feeding the dogs and giving Vito his shot. Rare for us to do the loving thing at night and again in the morning. Must be love in the air. Spent the morning watching TV and doing things around the house. Went to see the movie Magic Mike in the afternoon. It was actually not a bad movie and did have a plot and was enjoyable. Bought a pizza on the way home and spent the night with the dogs watching the movies Jeff Who Lives At Home and Jesus Henry Christ. Both were movies I read about and downloaded. Both were enjoyable enough, but could have picked better movies from my collection to watch. Went to bed around 10:30 PM.
Sunday morning we were up at 7 AM. Fed the dogs and gave Vito his shot. Took Tony's mom out for breakfast. Took the long way home along the Milwaukee lakefront. Spent the rest of the day indoors due to the extreme heat. Took a short nap which just turned into the loving thing again. Wow, what a weekend. Three times in one weekend. Made a beef tenderloin on the grill with a salad for supper. Spent the night watching TV on the DVR before going to bed around 10 PM.
This morning I was up at 6:30 AM. Fed the dogs and gave Vito his shot. Around 10 AM I left the house to make a deposit at the bank and do a little grocery shopping for salad and fresh produce while I was at the store. Spent the rest of the morning and afternoon reading and finishing the book I started last week. I really enjoyed this book and will have to look up the author and see if he has any other books. It was a gay murder love story that took place on the soap opera TV set. Was just glad I was able to follow all the characters that were in the book. Had a happy ending which brought tears to my eyes as I read the last pages, the two main gay characters exchanging rings. Will have to start another book tomorrow since it is to be 95 degrees and I will most likely not even leave the house to go out in this heat. Making spaghetti and salads for supper tonight. Will most likely spend the night watching America's Got Talent before we go to bed. Damn it sure is hot outside. This heat is killing me.
