January 16, 2011 Sunday Morning

Saturday morning we spent the morning watching are usual shows on A&E called Sell This House and Flip The House. Tony fixed the garage door with the new bracket he got from an old door panel he had at the shop. Around noon we went to Sams Club on the south side because it was 'guest' day and you didn't have to be a member to go and purchase. You do need to watch your prices on stuff at Sams Club. Not everything is a good price or deal. We did end up spending $300 on stuff. One hundred of it was a new 3 In One printer fax copier machine and back up ink, so that left another $200 of stuff for the house and such. It is amazing how it all adds up. We do now have enough Sweet N Low for the next 6 months, LOL. Came home and spent the afternoon watching old Law And Order shows we had not seen in the past on one of the cable channels. Made a pizza we bought at Sams Club for dinner, with a salad. Spent the night watching a couple movies. Watched the movies Boy Culture and Hereafter. Boy Culture was a gay theme movie and very good. When it ended I looked at Tony and asked him why there are not more movies like this for gay people to enjoy. Hereafter was OK but I did not like the subtitles throughout about a fourth of the movie. I can not read and follow what is happening on the screen at the same time. Went to bed around 10:30 PM last night.

This morning we were both up and out of bed by 7 AM. I honestly wish we could sleep in a bit later on the weekends, but the dogs have the final say it seems. By the third or fourth toy Bo brings me I know it is time to get up and feed them. Tony is now asking where his breakfast is so I guess I better get going on that.

Made breakfast consisting of eggs, bacon and an English muffin. It was 10 degrees outside when we got out of bed this morning. The weather says a high of 18 degrees today. I figure about noon we will go to Pick N Save and get a bank deposit made, lottery tickets purchased, and some milk and ham and rolls all at one store, a couple blocks down the street. Suppose to get more snow in the next couple days and then turn very very cold, the coldest it has been in two years the weather people are saying. Sounds like it will be another week of just leaving the house on a 'need to' basis. This afternoon we will most likely take a nap and then spend the night watching TV. A lot on TV tonight. Will most likely just read about the award show tomorrow, DVR Undercover Boss and CSI Miami, and watch the ABC line up of Desperate Housewives and Brothers and Sisters before going to bed.
