Friday night we spent the night watching the movie Detention. It was not a movie I would recommend. Went to bed around 10 PM after a little lovin.
Saturday morning we got up around 7 AM after some more lovin. Fed the dogs and gave Vito his shot. Spent the morning doing things around the house. If it were not going to 90 degrees and humid I would be excited about the street party on our side street called Rockerbox. Went up to the street party a few times during the day, coming back home to rest in the air conditioning. Here are some pictures from this years Rockerbox.
And my favorite picture and man of the day at the event:
Around 5 PM it started to rain, not enough or lasted long enough to help the drought situation here in Milwaukee. Rained for about an hour. Ordered a pizza and spent the night watching the movie Margaret. My god, what a long long boring movie. The plot was good enough, but at 2 1/2 hours long, they could have told the story in an hour and a half. Went to bed around 10:30 PM after another round of lovin.
Sunday morning we got up around 7 AM after another round of lovin, fed the dogs and gave Vito his shot. After reading the morning newspaper we went to have breakfast at George Webb's. There was a waiting line to get in the restaurant so we went to Ma Fischers instead for breakfast. Stopped off at Big Lots on the way home to look at a sale item. Ended up not buying the item and left the store with very little. After we got home around noon Tony settled in on the couch and started to fall asleep. Figured it was nap time so we headed to the bedroom for the nap. Wouldn't you know this would turn into another round of lovin. For those counting, that is 5 now this weekend. Hell, I am 51 years old. Turned on the local TV channels around 5 PM to hear about the earlier shooting at the Sikh Temple here in Milwaukee. Jeez, what the hell is wrong with people? And once again this sort of thing in Milwaukee. We have enough with Jeffrey Dalmer and all in our history. Decided to walk to a new restaurant about a mile away called Clutch. Was hopeful we could get a hamburger or something to eat. Ordered a drink and could not find anything on the menu I would eat. This new restaurant will not survive on the menu they have. Remember this when they close in less then 6 months. Walked a half mile more to another restaurant and had a nice supper. Now we had to walk the mile and a half home, which I enjoyed, Tony complained. LOL. Came home and spent the night watching the movie Meeting Evil. It was a good enough movie. Best we watched all weekend. Went to bed around 10 PM after one last round of lovin for the weekend.
This morning I was up at 6:30 AM. Fed the dogs and gave Vito his shot. Was soon in the bathroom throwing up like I do too many mornings. Tony left for work around 7:30 AM and I started laundry. Got to the second load of laundry when I realized the washing machine is leaking. Not a lot, but enough being on our first floor that it must be fixed. Called the place we bought it and left a message. It is still under warranty for one more month. Did five loads of laundry during the course of today. Tony came home around 2 PM with a new lighted bumper in his truck to go under the front bushes facing North. It is the front end of a 1965 Pontiac Catalina. Got all the electrical and bulbs he needed and we put it under the front bush. We needed something facing North. The headlights are light bulbs and should look great at night. Will see tonight. Here is a picture of it.
Not sure what we are doing for supper tonight. It did cool down enough to turn off the air conditioning yesterday, but had it back on by noon today. When Tony was home we discussed maybe going to a car show tonight. Don't care either way since I don't feel great. I think I am coming down with a sinus and lung cold. Coughing and not feeling well for the last couple days. Saturday night I woke up with the worst headache, I though my head was going to explode. Started taking an antibiotic I have today, since I know this sinus infection isn't going away without it.
