- On January 7th, 2009 at the age of 47 I was diagnosed with HIV/AIDS. I hope my daily strengths and struggles will help you with yours. I plan on letting you know how my days are going and what feelings I am going through as I take this new path in my life. I am here to talk to you about your fears, ups and downs along this path. Please do not hesitate to contact me. I have been with my partner Tony since March of 1989. Together we have been through ups and downs like any other relationship. Tony had quadruple heart bypass in 2006 and we made it through it together. We have had to say goodbye to 5 of the most loving dogs I have had the pleasure to have, and lost many many friends and family that have died along the way. I can honestly say I never thought this would happen to me, the old saying is true. But it did. I hope I can inspire you, be there for you, and help you if you are going through what I am going through. I started this blog on January 7, 2009, the day my life changed forever. Kali 2001
Kali came along when I needed her most. Born July 17, 1999. Adopted September 2000.
Buddy
Buddy was the find of a lifetime. My Buddy. Found June 16th, 2001. Died June 13th, 2008.
Vito 2005
A dog like no other. So much personality. Born August 27th, 2003. Adopted June 25th, 2004.
Stella 2007
A Pitbull? Not in my home. Wouldn't change a thing. Found November 4th, 2004. Adopted November 22nd, 2004.
Betty 2005
We only had 2 short years together. Your pain has ended. Found February 7, 2005. Adopted February 25, 2005. Died November 23rd, 2007.
Barkley 2009
You walked into our home like you had always lived here at the age of 8. Adopted September 25th, 2008. Died April 16, 2012.
Bo 2010
What is that? Get him out of here! Sometimes you don't know what you need until you get it. Born December 22nd, 2009. Adopted February 24th, 2010.

OMG!!! Priceless! Dave, you fell for it. I LOVE IT!!! You didn't even catch when Jack mentioned 'Michelle'. You are too funny! I am cracking up. Loved when Suzanne mentioned she didn't know Jack worked at the airport. Your face is priceless! You can see the wheels turning trying to figure out what the heck is going on. Thanks for posting the video and the pictures. The lakefront picture is awesome :)
